RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vidal provided two assists for Chile and picked up his second yellow card of the Copa America tournament in Saturday's 7-0 victory against Mexico. He will miss Chile's semifinal match against Colombia this Wednesday.

Vidal has been excellent for Chile thus far during the Copa America tournament, playing the full 90 minutes in every match and scoring a brace against Bolivia. He will be a huge absence in Chile's starting XI against Colombia. Pablo Hernandez or Francisco Silva could get the start in Vidal's place.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vidal scored two goals on four shots (all on target) during Chile's 2-1 win over Bolivia on Friday.

Vidal did a much better job compared to his performance against Argentina, as the Bayern Munich midfielder passed the ball effectively and was a constant threat in the final third. Largely considered one of the best central midfielders in the world and a vital part in the Chilean squad, Vidal's fantasy value should remain high due to his role in the attack.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vidal finished with seven goals and eight assists in all competitions in his first season in the Bundesliga.

Vidal provided his typical steel in the center of the pitch upon transferring from Juventus, but he didn't fully find his way going forward until the second half of the season. A strong finish that saw him rack up four goals and five assists from late February onward. Vidal is under contract for three more seasons, meaning he should slot right back into the team after he returns from Copa America duty with Chile this summer.

Vidal played four key passes and provided an assist in Tuesday’s 2-1 win (2-2 aggregate loss) against Atletico Madrid.

Vidal continued his hot streak by setting up Robert Lewandowski’s second half goal in Tuesday’s second leg Champions League semifinal match but the Reds were unable to find the all-important third goal to secure a place in the finals. Vidal and team will now shift their focus to winning at Ingolstadt this Saturday in order to claim the Bundesliga title for a record fourth season in a row.

Vidal has been excellent lately, and his goal in Saturday’s win was his fourth in the last 10 matches, in all competitions. He has shown that he is capable of scoring in both Bundesliga and Champions League matches, which certainly helps his chances of seeing pitch action on a regular basis. Vidal scored a goal and registered an assist in Saturday’s 3-0 win against Schalke 04.

Vidal has been on a hot streak lately, bagging three goals and an assist in his last four matches, in all competitions. Every Bayern Munich player on the pitch seems to have a good chance of scoring a goal at any given time, yet fantasy owners should be convinced by Vidal’s recent run of good form and start him in the midfield position, especially given Bayern Munich’s upcoming busy schedule. The German titans host Werder Bremen on Tuesday in the DFB Pokal before traveling to the capital to face Hertha Berlin next Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vidal took five shots, putting four on target, and scored a goal in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

Vidal bagged the first crucial away goal for Bayern and put his side at a significant advantage over Benfica. The German title-holders won the tie 3-2 on aggregate score. His goal was an absolute rocket, fired from beyond the 18 yard box after Benfica goalkeeper Ederson Moraes parried a dangerous Philipp Lahm cross that wound up right at Vidal’s feet. The Chilean midfielder has been one of the most instrumental players for Bayern Munich in Champions League play, having scored the only goal in the first leg home victory. Bayern Munich hosts Schalke 04 in Bundesliga play this Saturday.
