Vidal signed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich on Tuesday after transferring from Juventus.

Vidal was linked with a number of European clubs this summer, most notably Arsenal, but the German giants stepped up with a bid reportedly around 26 million plus add-ons. He is an elite central midfielder who will likely link up with Xabi Alonso to form one of the best midfield duos in the world. He doesn't score a ton, which limits his fantasy value in most formats, though Bayern are a much better offensive team than Juventus.

Vidal is close to completing a 37 million transfer from Juventus to Bayern Munich, The Guardian reports.

Vidal began his decorated career in Germany with Bayern Leverkusen, before joining Juventus in 2011 and winning four straight Serie A titles. Now fresh off a Copa America triumph with his native Chile, Vidal appears set to sign with Bundesliga power Bayern Munich, where his midfield versatility can help with both winning possession and pushing forward in attack. At 28 years old, Vidal has consistently totaled around 10 goals in recent seasons, which should help him earn a spot in Bayern's gifted first-team setup.

Vidal suffered minor injuries during the incident, and it remains to be seen what kind of punishment, either from law enforcement or the Chilean FA, he could face.

Vidal had another great season for Juventus, as he scored eight goals and provided four assists while controlling the midfield for the Scudetto and Copa Italia champions.

The Chilean failed to reach the impressive total of 18 goals he scored last season, but arguably had a better year in terms of winning possession and driving the attack forward. Suitors from all over Europe have expressed interest in Vidal, but the player himself recently said he desires to stay at Juventus and compete for more trophies.

Vidal failed to convert from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute of Juve's 2-2 draw with Cesena on Sunday.

Vidal simply missed his attempt to the left, rather than forcing Cesena keeper Nicola Leali to make a save. He has been struggling of late, with his last goal coming back on Jan. 11 against Napoli, and though he remains a fixture in the starting XI, his penalty-taking duties could be under review.

Vidal boasts five goals through 10 starts and three substitute appearances in Serie A this season.

Vidal has dealt with a knee issue this season, but it hasn't stopped the Chilean from making his usual important impact, as Vidal's five goals rank second on the league's highest-scoring team. On his current pace, Vidal appears poised for a third straight double-digit goal season for Juventus.
