Ramires was sent off during Saturday's Premier League match at Aston Villa and will now miss the next three games.

Ramires isn't a great fantasy contributor, but he's a favorite of manager Jose Mourinho. With the ban, he will now miss matches against Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Stoke City.

Ramires scored in the 35th minute of Chelsea's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Eden Hazard set Ramires up for his first goal in Premier League play this season. The Brazilian is definitely a favorite of manager Jose Mourinho, although he doesn't have nearly the fantasy upside of teammates Hazard and Oscar in the midfield.

Ramires assisted on Demba Ba's 90th minute goal during Chelsea's 3-0 win over Southampton on Sunday.

The assist was Ramires' second this season, with the first coming back against Cardiff on October 19. He doesn't get involved in Chelsea's scoring nearly enough to warrant much fantasy consideration, with Oscar, Eden Hazard and occasionally Juan Mata as better plays out of the Chelsea midfield.

Ramires is in the Starting XI for Saturday's match against Tottenham.

Ramires left Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Swindon with a hip injury but it appears he was able to pass his fitness test ahead of Saturday's match. Whether he plays the full 90 minutes is unclear but he'll at least be out there for the start.

Ramires was unable to play in the second half of Tuesday's Capital One Cup victory over Swindon because of a hip injury, Sky Sports reports.

Ramires did not start Tuesday's match but came on after Marco van Ginkel left with a knee injury that was later determined to be a torn ACL. Ramires appears to be a late-fitness test away from playing Saturday against Tottenham.

Ramires was able to score the equalizer that gained Chelsea a replay at home against Manchester United as the game finished 2-2 on Sunday.

Though he is not known for his goal scoring, the young Brazilian was able to step up and provide a key moment in the hopes of his team winning a trophy this season.

Ramires scored twice, including the last, in Chelsea's 8-0 drubbing of Aston Villa.

The entire midfield got involved with Ramires being the only multi-goal scorer as Aston Villa had no answer for the Blues at the Bridge.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ramires was able to rise above the Manchester United defense to nod home and tie the game briefly, but Chelsea fell 3-2 on Sunday.

Ramires has fit in well at Chelsea after first not finding his stride. With an abundance of talent around him now, it should be interesting to see if his game takes off to a new level.
