Bennett (illness) will start on the Norwich City back line for Wednesday's clash with Watford.

Bennett's return is unlikely to impact fantasy lineups as he has failed to tally and goal or assist in league play this season. Even defensively, the 26-year-old just does not compile stats with a mere 30 tackles and two shots on target in 20 contests. It is likely clean sheet or bust in terms of fantasy value for Bennett.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bennett (illness) didn't make the 18-man squad on Saturday versus Man Utd.

Bennett has had a decent season, thus far, but he's not much of a fantasy factor and his absence wouldn't affect many fantasy rosters.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bennett picked up a yellow card and kept a clean sheet in Saturday's scoreless draw with Manchester City.

Bennett has picked up yellow cards in four consecutive matches and has seven in FA play (six in the Premier League and one in the Capital One Cup). He's had a tough go of things lately, but stepped up despite the early booking. Norwich will likely find more clean sheets hard to come by, but this was a banner day in their relegation scrap.

Bennett recorded an unfortunate own goal and tallied one shot on target, team-leading six clearances and three interceptions in the 3-1 loss to Stoke on Wednesday.

Trying to clear a great direct free kick cross from Ibrahim Afellay, Bennett could only direct the ball into his own net. It was a bad day at the office for one of the better Norwich defenders who, actually had to earn his starting spot as the season unfolded. Despite the gaffe Bennett shouldn’t worry about his starting role and will have an opportunity to bounce right back in the relegation battle against the Cherries on Saturday.

Bennett grabbed a defensive clean sheet, registered team-leading - six clearances and six aerials won – and received a yellow card in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Monday.

The youngster has made the best of his starting opportunities. He’s played on a high level and helped stabilize a porous Norwich defense that recorded their best defensive outing. Despite that, however, he’ll probably go back to the bench as soon as Andre Wisdom returns from injury. Even if keeps his starting role, though, he’s not a major fantasy contributor.

Bennett registered six crosses and a tackle in the loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

The central defender picked up his third consecutive start of the season. Horrific defending led to tactical changes that brought him to life for the first time this season. It looks like he’s doomed for at least another start Saturday with Russell Martin suspended. It is a favorable match-up at hosting the struggling Swansea and he’ll be looking to pick-up, at least, a defensive win, if not even a clean sheet.

Ryan Bennett (thigh) will not be available for the Spurs game this Sunday, manager Chris Hughton confirms.

Bennett has missed the last two games, and the defender's thigh injury is keeping him from the squad for another week. He has only featured in twelve league games this season and in that time has helped gain 4 clean sheets.

Bennett has been rated as likely to miss the trip to the Boleyn Ground by manager Chris Hughton.

Bennett has not played since the Canaries game against Cardiff City on 1 February. The Manager Chris Hughton may be tempted to stick with the back four that held Manchester City scoreless in the last game, so Bennett may not need to be rushed back.
