Howson has been ruled out for Sunday's match against Everton because of a knee injury.

Howson's been an up-and-down fantasy option this season, and even the highs haven't been that great, so his absence shouldn't affect too many teams.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson had two assists and created two chances in Norwich City’s 3-2 home win against Newcastle on Saturday.

After a decent start to the season, Howson was back in the good graces of fantasy managers, notching up two assists, as he helped Norwich to a thrilling win. Judging by his performances prior to this, maybe there are better fantasy options out there, however.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson (knock) is starting Saturday against Swansea.

Howson's knock was never considered serious, and while it's good that he's fit enough to play, his fantasy upside is fairly limited in most formats given his role.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson suffered a knock during Tuesday's match against Chelsea, but he is expected to play Saturday against Swansea.

Howson's role in the Canaries' midfield hasn't led to much fantasy production this season, but he's a regular starter and will likely be out there again Saturday for fantasy managers willing to make the ultimate dart throw.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson stroke a fireball in the net on two shots (one on target) and added one cross and one dribble in the 3-1 loss to Stoke on Wednesday.

Howson was one of the few bright spots in a poor Norwich squad. He’s been exceptional the last three Premier League games scoring twice and lasting the full 90 minutes of each game in that period. The improvement of his form and the increase of his playing time along with a favorable match-up versus bottom-of-the-table Bournemouth make him an enticing fantasy option on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson netted a goal on two shots (one on target) and hauled in three crosses and team-leading six tackles in the 2-0 home win over Aston Villa on Monday.

A Nathan Redmond’s flick was cleared by the defense right on, the unmarked, Howson’s volley who netted the ball, from the edge of the box, with fierce. The midfielder celebrated his return to the starting team with a vengeance. It was arguably his best game of the season. He’ll try to repeat his performance against, the struggling, Saints in the Canaries’ first home encounter of 2016 on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson headed home one of his two shots (both on target) in the 1-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.

The versatile midfielder scored his first goal of the season, and what a moment, for the Canaries, that to happen. He was one of the best in that game but he hasn’t been this generous to his fantasy owners until now with only two assists so far in the season. It isn’t going to get any easier beyond that game, for him, either with the Canaries facing top eight teams in five of their next six Premier League fixtures.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Howson picked up an assist and added two shots off target, two key passes, four dribbles and 5 crosses in the loss to Leicester City on Saturday.

The midfielder was one of the most valuable players for the Canaries and one of the main reasons for the, almost, come back of the home side. He is a regular starter with almost full basket of playing minutes but he doesn’t always fill up the main statistical categories. However, he’ll have a good chance to pick up another solid performance next week when visiting the season’s disaster – Newcastle United.
