Meram will miss Sunday's game against FC Dallas as he competes internationally with Iraq, although he's expected to be available Sept. 12 against the Union.

Meram picked up one assist and had two shots in Saturdayís 3-3 draw against Toronto.

Meram has been the forgotten man as of late in the crowded Columbus midfield. Meramís playing time may be in question with the arrival of Cedrick to the Columbus. We will have to wait until next Saturday against Orlando City SC to see if Meram continues to hold onto his spot in the starting eleven.

Meram took four shots, with each landing on goal, and scored in the 55th minute of Columbus' 3-0 win over Orlando City on Saturday.

Meram has had a solid start to the season, with two goals and one assist in four appearances. He's appropriately overshadowed by Kei Kamara and Federico Higuain, but he continues to show that he's able to produce on his own, usually at a much cheaper price in salary cap formats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Meram scored for the third straight game as the Crew claimed an impressive 2-0 win over Seattle on Wednesday.

Meram has come out of nowhere to provide a steady attack option for Columbus, something they had been sorely missing before May. If Meram is the real deal, Columbus could be back as a threat in the East.
