Naismith started and played the full 90 minutes, but finished with zero shot attempts as Everton lost 1-0 at Chelsea on Saturday. Naismith was originally slotted to start the match on the bench, but with Lacina Traore (hamstring) becoming a late scratch, Naismith was called on to start.

Naismith had been starting in place of the injured Romelu Lukaku (ankle), but was initially passed over for Traore on Saturday. With Lukaku expected to return for Everton's next Premier League match, Naismith's fantasy value is expected to drop considerably.

If you don't want to pay top-dollar for Romelu Lukaku this weekend, two of his teammates may provide just as much value at a much cheaper cost.

Naismith played the final 30 minutes of Sunday's FA Cup match against Swansea City wonderfully as a substitute. He managed to score a goal and also draw a penalty that led to the final goal of Everton's 3-1 win. After the match, however, he was showing signs of a concussion, Mirror Football reports. The team will monitor him for the next 24 hours before determining his status for Saturday's Premier League match against Chelsea.

Naismith would be in contention for a start Saturday against Chelsea if he is fit to play. Even if Romelu Lukaku (ankle) is able to return, he would be ineligible to play against his parent club and Everton will once again be looking for someone to fill his role.

Naismith doubled Scotland's goal tally with a penalty in the second half to seal a World Cup qualifying victory over Croatia on Tuesday.

Naismith's shot from the spot was Scotland's second goal in the match. The Everton forward was troublesome for Croatia, and was finally able to put his name on the scoresheet after working hard all night for his side.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Naismith scored one minute into extra time in the first half to propel Everton to a 1-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday.

Naismith's goal was his first of the season and was a huge score for Everton against a mighty opponent. He scored only four goals last year in 13 appearances for Everton, so a huge goal scoring streak shouldn't be expected to come.
