Naismith had a goal and an assist during Saturday's 5-4 loss to Liverpool.

Naismith seemed unfortunate that he had so much competition at Everton that he needed to look elsewhere for first-team opportunities. Judging by his performance against Liverpool, he could be in line for significantly more playing time than he got at Goodison Park.

Naismith has shown his ability to score in the past, but onslaughts like this are rare to see even from the world's best players. With this performance, Naismith has surely earned a start for next Saturday's match against Swansea City.
