Zusi will not play Sunday against the LA Galaxy due to a lingering calf injury, per the official Sporting KC website.

Brad Davis started in place of Zusi last Friday, but Connor Hallisey has also seen time at the position this season. Both are candidates to replace Zusi in the starting lineup on Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi will not play Friday against the Dynamo because of a minor calf injury picked up while on international duty, according to Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star.

Zusi's absence will allow Brad Davis to move into the starting lineup, though Benny Feilhaber may be given the open free kicks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi started at right back in Saturday's 2-0 win over Vancouver. He took two shots and made three crosses.

Zusi was played out of position at right back but held his own in contributing to the clean sheet. Usually deployed as a winger, Zusi was still able to get forward from his defensive position to be a threat in the attack. The situation is worth monitoring as his fantasy value takes a bit of a hit if he's listed as a midfielder but playing as a true defender.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

After appearing as a substitute in two of the last three matches, Zusi may be called upon to start at Dallas on Saturday. According to manager Peter Vermes, he is available.

The absence of Zusi has hurt Sporting throughout the year, especially on the road. If he could return to the starting lineup, that would boost an offense that hasn't scored in three straight road matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi (hamstring) is not in the 18-man squad to face the Timbers on Sunday.

Zusi was considered doubtful to play, so it's not surprising that he failed to make the 18. Connor Hallisey will start in his absence, and his next opportunity to play will come next Saturday against Portland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi (hamstring) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Timbers, according to Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star.

Zusi had to be subbed off after just 41 minutes during last Sunday's match against the Sounders due to the injury, and his inability to train this week will likely hold him out again. Brad Davis or Diego Rubio could move into the starting lineup in his place.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi had five crosses and an assist before being subbed off in the 41st minute of Sunday's 3-0 win over Seattle. The early sub was related to the same hamstring he's been dealing with recently, Sam McDowell reports.

Zusi has been sharp in limited action since returning from Copa America but it looks as though he'll need some time for his hamstring to heal. Connor Hallisey replaced him and could see more playing time while Zusi recovers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Zusi is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's match against Seattle.

This is good news for Sporting Kansas City as three points is needed for them, especially at home. Zusi hasn't been great in terms of fantasy this year, but he did score the last time he started, also coming at home.
