RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Anita scored on his lone shot and picked up a yellow card on five tackles in Tuesday's 1-1 draw to Man City.

An unbelievable run on the right flank followed by a cut to the middle and a fantastic finish saw Anita score a masterpiece of a goal - his first in two years. He's been immensely versatile starting everywhere along the defensive line and in midfield but for the most part, outside the last three games, unproductive in fantasyland. So it would be hard to trust him to continue getting the big stats. In addition, his back-to-back yellow cards that got his total number to six on the season limit his overall value.

Anita tallied one assist and took no shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss at Southampton.

The Dutch defensive midfielder has been consistently in the lineup since regaining fitness in March, but this is the first sign of production we've seen from him lately. Given the lack of of quality at Newcastle and the lack of finishing prowess from Anita, there's not much fantasy-wise to hang your hat on here.

Anita (hamstring) is fit for Saturday's match against Bournemouth.

While Anita was unable to crack the squad on Wednesday despite being in full training, he should be available for Saturday's match against Bournemouth. He's missed the last eight Premier League matches as he manages this injury, but could provide more cover in a holding midfield role upon his return to full-strength.

Anita returned to full training last week, but he may need to continue working on his match fitness before he's considered for selection.

Anita (hamstring) is fit to play Wednesday against Stoke.

Anita is one of several Newcastle players who are ready to return from injury, so while it's certainly a plus that he's fit again, it may take a while to get his match fitness back.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Anita (hamstring) returned to full training last Friday and could be available to play Tuesday against Stoke City, the Chronicle reports.

Newcastle have been riddled with injuries this season, so while Anita's return to fitness is a big boost from a depth standpoint, he's unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Anita (hamstring) is making good progress after his injury in December's loss at West Bromwich Albion.

Anita has been recovering very well from his long-term hamstring injury. He's yet to resume full training, however, he has stepped up his comeback by running and partaking in light ball work. He'll most likely continue to recover and return to the the regular training pitch then back to the first team.
