Britton is expected to be sidelined for at least four more weeks due to his ongoing knee injury, the South Wales Evening Post reports.

Britton suffered a stress fracture in his knee during pre-season and has been effectively unable to train since. Manager Garry Monk said he thinks he'll be able to start training in roughly three weeks, which could get him match ready by four, although it wouldn't be surprising if he was limited early on.

Britton will at least miss the first game of the EPL season with a bruised bone in his knee, Swansea City's Official Site reports.

Britton will get his knee scanned in two weeks to determine if he'll have to miss more than just the opening contest against Manchester United on Aug. 16. His absence will open up a spot in the starting lineup, but it's still a bit early to determine who'll get the opportunity to step up into that role.

Britton was available off the bench for Swansea's match against Everton on Sunday, but he did not play.

Britton is coming back from a toe injury, and doesn't start many matches for Swansea, so it's not surprising that he was stuck on the bench Sunday.

Britton (toe) is set to be in contention for Sunday's Premier League match against Everton, according to The Independent.

Britton suffered a broken toe earlier this month, so his return Sunday is quite fast. He dealt with a calf injury earlier this season and has been in-and-out of the Swansea starting XI, which limits his effectiveness from a fantasy standpoint.

Britton will not play in Sunday's Premier League match against Norwich City due to a broken toe, the Northern Echo reports.

Britton has been in-and-out of the starting XI this season and with no goals and no assists to his name, he remains a very weak fantasy option.

Britton, who has been nursing a calf injury during the international break, had yet to participate in full training, the South Wales Evening Post reports.

Despite the lack of full training, there's still a chance that Britton could play this weekend against Sunderland. The 31-year old midfielder has made three appearances but has taken only one shot in his time on the pitch.
