Tomkins will be available for West Ham after missing the last five league matches due to a calf problem, according to manager Slaven Bilic.

This is good news for West Ham who will be without James Collins for Saturday's match. Tomkins along will Aaron Cresswell could be decent plays for a home match against struggling Crystal Palace.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tomkins (calf) is in the final stages of his rehab and should join the team in training later this week.

Tomkins' progress has been positive, but he still has yet to enter full training and is likely a doubt ahead of Saturday's clash with Chelsea. With the international break on the horizon, Tomkins should be good to go by the time they take on Crystal Palace in their following match if he can't go on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tomkins (calf) will miss another match this weekend, but manager Slaven Bilic believes Tomkins could return for the Chelsea match on March 19.

Tomkins was a mainstay in the West Ham defense before he got hurt. Reece Oxford will likely get another start this weekend at Everton due to West Ham's injuries along the back line.

Tomkins (calf) will be out for a few more weeks, according to West Ham medical director Stijn Vandenbroucke.

Sam Byram has played fairly well in Tomkins' place and could continue to start.

Tomkins (calf) will be out for five weeks, according to manager Slaven Bilic.

With Winston Reid and Joey O'Brien also dealing with injury, the Hammers may have to turn to Angelo Ogbonna and Sam Byram in the back. Byram came in for Tomkins last match and picked up a yellow card in 30 minutes of action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tomkins is expected to be out for up to four weeks after suffering a calf injury during the warmup before Saturday's match against Southampton. "James Tomkins got injured in the Southampton game, he felt it before the warm up but he said he was OK," manager Slaven Bilic said Monday. "At half-time he said he was OK but shortly after that it went, itís a calf injury. He has a scan this morning, so after that weíll know more. Itís probably a few weeks if we are lucky, maybe more. Itíll be two to four weeks."

Tomkins has been a regular starter at right back but the depth will surely be tested, as Arsenal-loanee Carl Jenkinson is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL. Sam Byram is a possibility for Saturday's Premier League match against Norwich City, though he is unable to play Tuesday against Liverpool in the FA Cup because he is cup-tied, which should allow Joey O'Brien to get a rare start.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tomkins blasted three shots off target and picked up three crosses and two dribbles en route to a defensive clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday.

Excellent fantasy outing for the whole Hammers' rearguard. Besides the very fruitful win and clean sheet, with the Hammers' endless forays throughout the whole game, every defender managed to register shots on goal and other offensive statistics. Tomkins has been able to, already, rack up a very good number of games (21 Premier League appearances). The addition of Sam Byram, however, will probably hurt his playing time a little bit but the Hammers are still very thin in defense and Tomkins should be able to tally more games under his belt.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tomkins (head) is starting Tuesday against Aston Villa.

Tomkins needed 13 stitches after suffering his head injury, but he'll slot right back into the starting XI, as the Hammers are very light in backups at the position, with Carl Jenkinson out for the year with a torn ACL and Sam Byram sidelined by a muscular injury.
