Azpilicueta picked up his second assist of the season during Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday, while posting his third consecutive Premier League shutout.

The Chelsea defense has been excellent of late, adding in a shutout of Bundesliga-side Schalke in the Champions League during this defensive run. Azpilicueta had been losing playing time to Filipe Luis in UCL play, but with the way that the former is playing right now with John Terry, Gary Cahill, and Branislav Ivanovic, it's unlikely manager Jose Mourinho tinkers with his lineup too much.

Azpilicueta had 83 touches, but failed to take a shot or make a key pass during Saturday's 2-0 win over West Brom.

Azpilicueta has been very quiet in most fantasy formats this season, particularly with the relatively few clean sheets the Blues have posted. While he finished with the fourth-most touches Saturday, he did not take a shot and failed to make a key pass. Without the clean sheets, Azpilicueta's fantasy value is fairly limited.

Azpilicueta is eligible for Saturday's Premier League match against Liverpool at Anfield after completing his red-card suspension.

Azpilicueta was replaced in the starting XI by Filipe Luis, but he is likely to get his spot back against a Liverpool side that has really struggled to come close to last season's production.

Azpilicueta was sent off in the 40th minute of Chelsea's Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to a two-footed late challenge.

Azpilicueta has three clearances and two interceptions before being sent off. It's a tricky situation for the Spaniard, who will now be replaced by Filipe Luis in the starting XI, a player who has been more active in Champions League play this season than in the Premier League.

Azpilicueta took one shot on goal and registered his second consecutive clean sheet during Chelsea's 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Azpilicueta continues to start Premier League matches for Chelsea, but he has been benched for their two Champions League matches in favor of Filipe Luis. There is little reason at this point to think manager Jose Mourinho will change that tactic any time soon, so fantasy owners in those respective games should plan accordingly.

Azpilicueta assisted on Diego Costa's 59th minute goal during Chelsea's 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Chelsea defense has not been as solid as it was last season, with Azpilicueta earning just his second clean sheet in six Premier League matches. While he plays on the outside, a vast majority of his fantasy value is still derived from clean sheets. In addition, Filipe Luis is waiting in the wings if Azpilicueta starts to falter.

Azpilicueta signed a five-year contract extension with Chelsea on Tuesday.

Azpilicueta has started all three of Chelsea's Premier League matches this season, although he'll continue to have to look over his shoulder for the upcoming Filipe Luis, who was brought in from Atletico Madrid this summer.

Azpilicueta started and played all 90 minutes of Chelsea's 6-3 victory over Everton on Saturday.

Despite the summer signing of Felipe Luis from Atletico Madrid, Azpilicueta continues to find a place in the starting XI. He looked a bit shaky at Goodison Park, but it probably wasn't enough to get him benched in favor of Luis.
