Snodgrass underwent scans that revealed he dislocated his kneecap and damaged ligaments during Hull City's opener against Queens Park Rangers last Saturday, reports the Hull Daily Mail. The injury will require surgery and will force Snodgrass out of action for the next six months.

With Snodgrass expected to be out until late February, feel free to cut him loose and look for other midfield options.

Snodgrass will require additional scans on his knee before a determination can be made on how long the midfielder will be out, reports the Hull Daily Mail. Sndograss left Hull City's opening match against Queens Park Rangers in the 40th minute and was seen after the match with a knee brace and on crutches.

Snodgrass had back-to-back seasons of six goals with Norwich City before signing with Hull City this summer. Expectations were high for Snodgrass upon signing with the Tigers, but the knee injury could have him sidelined for an extensive period of time.

Snodgrass limped off with an apparent knee injury in Hull City's 1-0 win as Queens Park Rangers on Saturday and was in a brace and crutches after the game according to manager Steve Bruce.

Bruce also said, "We fear ligament damage and if it is, it'll obviously be a long time but hopefully it's not." Snodgrass has been a decent mid tier fantasy option the past two seasons with Norwich, but it sounds like he has a tough recovery road ahead of him now.

Snodgrass redirected a cross towards Yannick Sagbo that the substitute striker was able to put into the back of the net for the deciding goal in Thursday's 2-1 victory over AS Trencin.

Snodgrass earned his first start in a Hull City uniform Thursday as he looks forward to a promising Premier League season with the Tigers. After back-to-back seasons of six goals for Norwich City, Snodgrass joined Hull City this season after the Canaries were relegated following the 2013-14 season.

Snodgrass signed a three-year contract with Hull City on Monday after transferring from Norwich City, the club's official web site reports.

Snodgrass now gets a shot to stay in the Premier League after failing to help Norwich avoid relegation last season. He scored six goals in both of the last two seasons, and should get plenty of opportunities to play at Hull.

Snodgrass (wrist) will take no part in Scotland's friendly with Poland this week, as he recovers from the effects of a wrist injury which forced him off in the Canaries' last outing against Aston Villa. He sustained the injury will attempting a tackle in the first half of the game, the Eastern Daily Press reports.

Snodgrass has been one of the few bright spots for Norwich-loving fantasy owners in the past few weeks. His injury status will have to be kept an eye on, with Norwich hosting a favourable fixture against Stoke City on March 8.

Snodgrass (groin) will have to take a fitness test prior to the Canaries fixture with West Ham United on Tuesday, according to manager Chris Hughton.

Snodgrass missed the scoreless draw with Man City on Saturday, but if he can pass this fitness test then manager Chris Hughton would likely include him in his matchday squad for the West Ham clash, as he would hope to increase Norwich's attacking threat. Snodgrass has only two goals this season, but one of those did come in the reverse fixture against West Ham at home, a game where Norwich ran out 3-1 winners.
