Sterling picked up an assist on Emre Can's ninth-minute goal during Liverpool's 2-1 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.

Can's shot fired off Gary Cahill's shoulder and into the net, so it's unclear if he'll keep the goal or not. If he doesn't, Sterling will obviously lose his assist. Fantasy owners surely hope it stays after enduring five straight games without a goal or assist from Sterling. In fact, his last goal came all the way back on Sept. 20 against West Ham, as he heads into the November international break with three goals and three assists in 11 Premier Leagues matches.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers insisted that Sterling is expected to sign a new contract with the club in the next few weeks, reports the Mirror.

Sterling assisted on Jordan Henderson's 61st-minute goal during Liverpool's 2-1 win over West Brom on Saturday.

Sterling's assist was just his second this season and first since the season-opener Aug. 17 against Southampton. He continues to be a very dangerous attacker, but he is getting much more attention from opposing defenses with Daniel Sturridge out with a thigh injury. Sturridge is expected to return after the international break to face QPR on Oct. 19, which could be the start of Sterling's breakout.

Sterling scored in the 26th minute of Liverpool's 3-1 Premier League loss to West Ham on Saturday.

Sterling fired a rocket to the back of the net off a rebound from a Mario Balotelli shot for the only Liverpool goal of the day. Sterling was mostly rested last week against Aston Villa in order to keep him fresh for Tuesday's Champions League match against Ludogorets. While Liverpool won the UCL match, they have now dropped back-to-back Premier League matches, so manager Brendan Rodgers may need to find a better way to play with Sterling's minutes to keep him fresh for the long haul.

Sterling wan't able to break through Monday, only recording one shot in Liverpool's 1-3 loss to Manchester City.

Sterling provided some pressure down the wing but wasn't able to break down the Manchester City back line. Fantasy owners shouldn't fret too much as the young winger is certainly integral to manager Brendan Rodgers attack oriented approach. Next week's matchup against Tottenham at White Hart Lane could be indicative of Sterling's potential against upper echelon opponents.

Sterling was the man of the match, scoring one goal and recording an assist in Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Southampton on Sunday.

Sterling displayed why many are counting on the youngster for a breakout 2014-2015 season, as he provided most of the energy from the Liverpool attack. The 19-year-old lined up three shots on target, two more than any other Red. If Sterling can build on his current form, he will be a steal at his early season fantasy pricing, and owners should think about jumping on this train earlier rather than later, to profit from performances like this one.

Sterling scored two goals in Liverpool's 3-2 victory over Norwich on Sunday.

Sterling impressed again, bringing his goal total to nine on the season, while also adding his fourth assist. The Liverpool attack continues to roll and the young English star is a big reason for that lately. Sterling will head into a huge match against Chelsea with a lot of confidence, and form on his side.
