Sterling blasted four shots on goal (one on target) and completed a key pass in 83 minutes of play in Manchester City draw with Aston Villa on Sunday.

The starlet was very busy but mainly ineffective. He started on the left wing but with Wilfred Bony’s injury early first half was deployed up front. Unable to create real threat he was replaced by the work-in-progress Kelechi Iheanacho. Sterling started the season on fire but he’s had his ups and downs as of late. The Citizens would need a much better efficiency from Sterling when hosting his ex-team – Liverpool in a fortnight.

Sterling scored three goals on six shots (three on target) in Saturday's 5-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Sterling opened the scoring in the seventh minute from a potentially offside position on a ball that pinged around before finding Sterling three-yards-out. Sterling scored his second on a magnificent through ball from Kevin De Bruyne and finished his first half hat trick by finishing off a close rebound to put the game fully out of reach. After scoring just once in the first seven matches, this offensive explosion could spur him on to bigger and better things.

Sterling (hamstring) is starting Tuesday against Juventus in the Champions League.

Sterling missed last weekend's match against Crystal Palace after tweaking his hamstring in warmups, but he was never expected to miss significant time, and he'll slot right back into his starting spot against a solid Juventus defense.

Sterling (hamstring) has been deemed fit for Tuesday's Champions League match against Juventus.

Sterling was unable to play last weekend against Crystal Palace after suffering the injury in warmup, but it was always considered minor, and he was likely kept out to ensure he'd be fit for the UCL tie. He could get a start as a forward, too, as Sergio Aguero will not play because of a knee injury.

Sterling will not play Saturday against Crystal Palace after picking up a hamstring injury in warmups, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Wilfried Bony will get the start up front alongside Sergio Aguero. The report indicates the injury is not serious, which could allow Sterling to play Tuesday against Juventus in the Champions League.

Sterling had three key passes, including an assist, in a 2-0 win over Everton on Sunday.

Sterling appears to have found a starting role with Man City and what they need out of him is his elite speed. They simply want him attacking down the flanks to open up the midfield and give players like Yaya Toure and David Silva more opportunities for success. This is a formidable midifield to say the least and Sterling should be a nice fantasy contributor all season. He and Manchester City take on Watford next Saturday.

Sterling officially signed a five-year contract with Manchester City on Tuesday after transferring from Liverpool. The transfer fee of £49 million is a record fee for an English player and the biggest transfer in club history.

Sterling has wanted out of Liverpool for quite some time and he finally got his wish after Man City increased their bid after two failed attempts. He will join an extremely talented attacking force and could be an excellent fantasy option this season, particularly now that he doesn't have the full attack responsibility on his shoulders.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sterling will sign with Manchester City after the club's £49 million bid was accepted by Liverpool, the BBC reports.

Man City reportedly had two smaller bids rejected, but they finally decided to pony up the money for the young England international. Sterling did not travel with Liverpool on their preseason tour with the expectation that he would join Man City, though the deal has not been officially announced yet. He'll have plenty of talent around him at the Etihad, and he may actually perform better than he did at Anfield because he won't have to lead the attack on his own.
