Sterling made two passes and a total of merely six touches in 15 minutes off the bench in the 1-0 away win over Sunderland on Tuesday.

An extremely disappointing involvement by Sterling who's been out of shape and out of favor of late. He started none of the last three Premier League games and his last goal was on Boxing Day. However with recent injuries to Kevin de Bruyne and Jesus Navas he may be installed back in the starting XI.

With six goals in his last four starts in all competitions, Sergio Aguero is a unanimous choice as the top striker this weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sterling took four shots, put in two crosses and made two key passes in Tuesday's goalless draw with Leicester.

As has been the case on a number of occasions this season, Sterling wasted a couple of golden chances in front of goal. He continues to get himself into dangerous positions, but the final product has not been there frequently enough for the 21-year-old. Sterling will continue to see his fair share of chances playing in a loaded Manchester City attack, but he will need to start converting to become a consistent fantasy option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sterling opened the scoring, had one shot on target and created two chances in Manchester City's crushing 4-1 home win against Sunderland on Boxing Day. The only blot on his copybook was a yellow card in the opening minutes of the game.

Another excellent display from Sterling albeit against poor opposition. He needs, however, to add some consistency to his game. That being said he is only 21 and has already notched nine goals this season in all competitions.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sterling tallied an assist on two shots (one on target) in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Southampton.

Consistency and Sterling don't go together, but when they do, he can be one of the most electrifying players in the Premier League. The assist was his first since Aug. 23 and he hasn't scored a goal since netting a hat trick five matches ago. While he has otherworldly talent, Sterling will always be a frustrating player as his finishing regularly lacks the quality needed to beat Premier League-level stoppers. With that in mind, it's no wonder that his four goals have come against newly-promoted sides Watford and Bournemouth.

Sterling blasted four shots on goal (one on target) and completed a key pass in 83 minutes of play in Manchester City draw with Aston Villa on Sunday.

The starlet was very busy but mainly ineffective. He started on the left wing but with Wilfred Bony’s injury early first half was deployed up front. Unable to create real threat he was replaced by the work-in-progress Kelechi Iheanacho. Sterling started the season on fire but he’s had his ups and downs as of late. The Citizens would need a much better efficiency from Sterling when hosting his ex-team – Liverpool in a fortnight.

Sterling scored three goals on six shots (three on target) in Saturday's 5-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Sterling opened the scoring in the seventh minute from a potentially offside position on a ball that pinged around before finding Sterling three-yards-out. Sterling scored his second on a magnificent through ball from Kevin De Bruyne and finished his first half hat trick by finishing off a close rebound to put the game fully out of reach. After scoring just once in the first seven matches, this offensive explosion could spur him on to bigger and better things.

Sterling (hamstring) is starting Tuesday against Juventus in the Champions League.

Sterling missed last weekend's match against Crystal Palace after tweaking his hamstring in warmups, but he was never expected to miss significant time, and he'll slot right back into his starting spot against a solid Juventus defense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sterling (hamstring) has been deemed fit for Tuesday's Champions League match against Juventus.

Sterling was unable to play last weekend against Crystal Palace after suffering the injury in warmup, but it was always considered minor, and he was likely kept out to ensure he'd be fit for the UCL tie. He could get a start as a forward, too, as Sergio Aguero will not play because of a knee injury.
