RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain (hamstring) will start in Saturday's game against NYC FC.

Higuain was considered questionable coming into the game with soreness in his left hamstring but he apparently passed a late fitness test and will assume his normal role in the starting XI slotted directly behind Kei Kamara.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain is dealing with soreness in his left hamstring and is considered questionable for Saturday's game against NYC FC, Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Higuain faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's game and his availability won't be made clear until official lineups are published shortly before kickoff. If he's unable to play, Cedrick Mabwati could be given his first MLS start.

Higuain had one shot and an assist in Saturdayís 3-3 draw against Toronto.

Higuain picked up another assist on the first goal of the game against Toronto. Unfortunately, he was subbed off late in order to get a more defensive minded midfielder into the game. Clearly it didnít work for Columbus as they blew the lead, but as usual, Higuain played spectacular in attack and will look to continue his good form next Saturday in Orlando.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain had two shots and scored a goal in Sundayís 3-1 win over Chicago.

Higuain scored the opening goal from the penalty spot in Sundayís convincing win over Chicago. He ended what was a five-match goalless streak and continues to be an intricate part of the Columbus attack. He tends to be overshadowed with the play of Kei Kamara and Ethan Finlay, but Higuain is still one of the most creative and dangerous players in MLS. Expect him to play a huge role this Saturday as Columbus takes on Toronto FC.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain had an active game Saturday as he netted his fourth goal of the season and drew three fouls in Saturday's 1-1 draw with the Galaxy.

Higuain's four goals are good for second best on the Crew behind Kei Kamara's league-leading 10. Additionally, Higuain has two assists this year which makes him a valuable asset across all formats moving forward this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain netted his third goal of the season against the Impact on Saturday.

Higuain also has two assists on 13 starts this season. The 30-year-old has the ability to produce but should continue playing second fiddle to Kei Kamara as the season continues.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Higuain failed to take a single shot during Columbus' 4-1 win over Philadelphia on Saturday.

Higuain failed to grab a goal or an assist in his first four appearances this season, but he grabbed one of each last weekend against Orlando City. Unfortunately, he was back to his quiet production Sunday, which was made worse by the fact that he failed to take a shot for the first time all season. He's still a vital piece of the Crew attack, but he's been out-produced fairly handily by Kai Kamara and Ethan Finley in the early part of the season.
