Okore has been sent to Aston Villa's under-21 after a request for more playing time received a negative response, according to the Daily Mail.

Okore has not made many appearances for the team so far this season, and hasn't played since March. The team has already been assured of relegation and that could mean a clear out of many players to trim the club's wage expenses.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Okore had a team-leading 14 clearances, three tackles, two blocked shots and a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday.

The Joleon Lescott, Okore and Mark Bunn triangle in the middle of the Villans' defense has done miracles for the team's survival hopes. Aston Villa has two wins and only five goals allowed in their last five games. As good as Okore's defensive performance has been, his offensive inclusion is very limited which hampers his fantasy upside significantly.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Okore had eight clearances, five tackles and three aerials won in the 0-0 draw to West Brom on Saturday.

Okore has been great in the absence of Alan Hutton (hamstring) and skipper Micah Richards. He has no goals or assists but picked up his third consecutive start and seventh total for the season in the Premier League. Villa are undefeated in their last three, with one win, two clean sheets and merely one goal allowed in that period.

Okore did not play Monday against Norwich City because of a swollen knee.

Joleon Lescott moved to the bench with the return of Micah Richards from a knee injury, while Ciaran Clark partnered with the latter. The severity of Okore's injury isn't known yet, though there's plenty of competition for the spot alongside Richards.

Okore (knee) is on the bench Saturday against Watford.

Okore makes his long-awaited return from a serious knee injury, though with Ciaran Clark and Micah Richards starting in the two centerback spots, it's unclear if Okore will get a shot to compete for a job.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Okore is unlikely to play in Saturday's match versus Everton because of a knee injury.

The 23-year-old has not played this season as he continues to recover from a long-term knee issue, but he is said to be progressing toward a return. Saturday's match will come too soon, however, and he will likely be sidelined once again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Okore was an unused substitute in Aston Villa's last fixture against Southampton.

Okore is now fit to play and made the substitute roster for the match on Oct. 28, however he has yet to see the pitch for a Premier League fixture this season. Look for him to continue his return to fitness and make an appearance in an upcoming match for Aston Villa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Okore (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Chelsea, the Birmingham Mail reports.

Okore has yet to play this season due to the injury, and while he's expected to compete for a starting spot when he returns, though that likely won't happen until November. Micah Richards is expected to continue to start, with Jose Angel Crespo and Joleon Lescott battling for the other spot.
