Sanogo scored his first goal for Crystal Palace in Saturday's 3-2 win at Southampton in the FA Cup.

Sanogo slotted the ball home from just inside the 18-yard box following a pass from Wilfried Zaha. It's his first goal since arriving on loan from Arsenal earlier this month.

Sanogo has moved to Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, according to the official club website.

Sanogo is the first signing of new manager Alan Pardew's reign that began at the start of 2015. “We have given him an opportunity, he needs to play more games and I think he’s ready for that and he proved that at Arsenal. It’s tough to get in their team but he’s closer to the starting action with us," Pardew said. Sanogo has played five times for Arsenal this season in all competitions and has a single goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Manager Arsene Wenger said Friday that he would like to loan Sanogo out to an English side during the January transfer window.

Sanogo has found first-team football hard to come by this season, both due to injuries and his spot on the depth chart behind Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez.

Manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Tuesday that Sanogo is fit for selection after suffering a hamstring injury last Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund.

Despite the return to fitness, it's unlikely that Sanogo gets significant playing time, with Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck fit.

Sanogo suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal's 2-0 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, the Mirror reports.

Sanogo finally scored his first Arsenal goal, then picked up another injury to add to his long list of ailments during his time with the Gunners. With Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck ahead of him on the depth chart, he didn't figure to see much playing time during Premier League play, even with the condensed holiday schedule coming up.

Sanogo opened the scoring in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Dortmund in the Champions League.

Sanogo played a neat one-two with Santi Cazorla before firing Arsenal ahead after just two minutes of the vital clash. Sanogo was only starting for the fourth time in all competitions this season and it was his first goal for the club.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Thursday that Sanogo (hamstring) is available for Saturday's Premier League match against Burnley.

With Danny Welbeck fully fit, and Alexis Sanchez getting occasional playing time as the lone striker, there isn't much room for Sanogo to make a fantasy impact in Premier League matches.
