Redmond has been out for a few weeks due to an ankle injury, but has a slight possibility of returning this weekend against Newcastle, according to manager Alex Neil. However, the manager still believes it may be too early.

Redmond has five goals and two assists on the year, and has been a useful fantasy player in certain matchups. If Redmond can't go, Matthew Jarvis and Robbie Brady could serve as solid midfield options against a Newcastle team lacking options on the back line.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks because of the ankle injury he suffered Saturday against Manchester City, according to Charlie Wyett of The Sun.

Redmond gives Norwich some solid speed on the flanks, but he's been a fairly disappointing fantasy option this season. Given Norwich's spot in the table, it's possible they could use Redmond late in the campaign, but it'll be close to the end.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond was removed from Saturday's match against Manchester City in the 45th minute due to injury.

Redmond has gotten some decent playing time of late, but he's struggling to produce enough to warrant serious consideration in most formats.

Redmond had one goal on three shots in Tuesday’s loss versus Chelsea.

Redmond was able to capitalize late as the game seemed to open up in play. Redmond made a nice run through Chelsea’s back line and finished a pass from Wesley Hoolahan. The midfielder’s next match comes Saturday versus Swansea City, a squad that has allowed 36 goals in League play. This is Redmond’s first league goal since October; a goal streak is not likely.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond tallied an assist, four dribbles, one key pass and one cross in the stunning 2-1 away victory over Manchester United on Saturday.

Redmond, believe it or not, is still the leading scorer of the team. He started the season on fire scoring all his four goals and picking up an assist in the first nine games. He’s taken a little bit of a dip since, though, just registering his first assist in the last eight games. The performance against the Red Devils may be the inspiration he needs to pick up the slack and rise back to form. Next up for the winger is a tough visit to the hard-pressing Spurs where, however, he may have a chance to sneak something out on quick counters.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond (thigh) is starting Saturday against Chelsea.

Redmond has been in-and-out of the starting XI this season, and he'll get a chance Saturday in the No. 10 role to stake a claim to more regular playing time. Chelsea have been excellent defensively in the past, though they've shown to be the opposite this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond assisted Norwich City's lone goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

Redmond has enjoyed a stellar start to this season, scoring a goal in both of Norwich's first two games before setting up their lone goal over the weekend. With his confidence building, the 21-year-old could be a decent investment for fantasy owners looking for high-upside, low-cost options.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Redmond scored a goal on three shots (one on target) in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Sunderland.

After scoring off the bench in a loss to Crystal Palace last weekend, Redmond scored his second goal of the season in Norwich City's first top-flight win of the season. The pacey England native is one of the most promising players on a Norwich City team looking to avoid the relegation scrap. After a strong summer playing with the England U-21 team, Redmond has continued that strong run of form after scoring just six goals in 46 appearances in the Championship last season.
