Garbutt covered for Baines yet again Wednesday and played admirably, sending in another 11 crosses in the 2-0 loss to Stoke City.

Garbutt has come out of nowhere and has looked strong in his two starts since taking over for the injured Leighton Baines. The only problem is that when Baines returns, there's no role for Garbutt to grab and he'll likely return to a bench role like he's had all season. Keep an eye on the starting XI next Saturday when Everton take on Newcastle.

Garbutt, who started in place of the injured Leighton Baines (quad) on Sunday against Arsenal, could start again Wednesday against Stoke City, with Baines unlikely to play, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Garbutt threw in a number of fine deliveries from set pieces, giving him a decent chance at picking up an assist or two if he can maintain his spot in the starting lineup.

Garbutt sent in an impressive 18 crosses in the 2-0 loss to Arsenal Sunday.

With Baines out, Garbutt took over his duties and supplemented his role by making a surprising 18 crosses in Sundays match. Garbutt provides very little in fantasy terms and won't even be asked to play much from here in out, so take the performance with a grain of salt. Keep an eye on the starting XI this Wednesday against Stoke to see if he cracks the lineup.
