Bony (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Champions League match against Juventus.

Bony suffered the injury before the international break and has been unable to train fully yet, though manager Manuel Pellegrini left open the possibility that he could be fit for Saturday's Premier League match against Southampton. Sergio Aguero will continue to start up front.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony (hamstring) will miss Saturday's fixture with Liverpool.

The 26-year-old striker has been excellent in the Champions League, scoring two goals and picking up an assist in the past two matches with Sergio Aguero on the sidelines, but his success hasn't quite translated to Premier League play. Save the brace he scored against Bournemouth, Bony has just one assist in the nine other matches. Bony's injury will force Aguero back into the starting XI from the outset and will take a huge hit to the team's attacking depth.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony (hamstring) could miss Saturday's match against Liverpool because of his hamstring injury, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Bony is still not fully fit after using the international break to recover, and it looks like he's likely not strong enough to start, which would force City to immediately slot Sergio Aguero back into the spot.

Bony (hamstring) was dropped out of Ivory Coast national team, reports Super Sport.

The Elephants have important World Cup qualifying double-header with Liberia on November 13-th and 17-th. They were hoping they can have all their weapons on their disposal but that's not happening for the City forward who picked up a hamstring injury during Sunday's clash with Aston Villa. It is, however, still unclear how significant is Bony's injury and how much time would he miss.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony came off the first half of Sunday's match against Aston Villa because of a hamstring injury, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Bony continues to start in place of Sergio Aguero, who is out with his own hamstring injury, but the Ivorian's latest ailment is likely to keep him out of international duty over the next two weeks. Aguero is expected to return after the break, which would otherwise push Bony back to the bench anyway.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony scored two goals and tallied an assist on five shots (four on target) in Saturday's 5-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Bony was starting in favor of Sergio Aguero, who's out for the next month, and made the most of his opportunities. Bony had scored just two goals in a City kit since coming over from Swansea in January, so this brace could be the jolt of confidence he needs to keep the ship afloat until Aguero returns.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony is starting Saturday against Bournemouth.

Bony was expected to move into the starting XI after Sergio Aguero was ruled out for at least one month due to a hamstring injury suffered while on international duty, and the Ivorian will do just that against the Cherries. It's a huge opportunity for Bony, who was an excellent goal scorer for Swansea City before his struggles began in Manchester.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony could become a fixture in the starting lineup, with Sergio Aguero out for at least one month with a hamstring injury, the BBC reports.

Bony just recently returned from a knock, and if he doesn't suffer any kind of setback during the international break, he could lead the line for a very talented attack for up to four Premier League matches, including the Manchester derby, and two Champions League ties against Sevilla.
