Bony returned from an ankle injury to come on as a late sub Saturday against Aston Villa, entering in the 82nd minute for Sergio Aguero. He failed to take a shot and finished with just seven touches.

Bony missed three games due to the ailment, and while it's notable that he got into the game ahead of Edin Dzeko, it was too little playing time to make much of a fantasy impact. With some more training under his belt this week, he may be able to get back in the starting XI next Sunday against Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Bony (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's match against West Ham.

Bony also missed last weekend's Manchester derby, and while the issue was not considered serious at first, it's become obvious that the injury was worse than initially believed. Sergio Aguero will continue to lead the line, with Edin Dzeko either starting next to him or available off the bench.

Bony did not make the trip for Manchester City's match at Crystal Palace on Monday after suffering an ankle injury in training, according to NBC Sports.

There was no mention of an ankle injury before Monday's game, making it incredibly frustrating for fantasy owners who needed to set their lineups during the weekend. The severity of the ailment is unclear, but Edin Dzeko will start alongside Sergio Aguero at Selhurst Park.

Bony took seven shots and scored his first Manchester City goal during their 3-0 win over West Brom on Saturday.

West Brom went down to 10 men just 90 seconds into the match, and City followed with an all-out blitz, with Bony actually finishing with fewer shots than Sergio Aguero (9) and David Silva (10). Bony looked very comfortable in attack with Aguero, and certainly seemed to do enough to keep his spot in the starting lineup.

Bony is in the starting lineup for Saturday's match against West Brom.

Bony will partner up front with Sergio Aguero in just his second start since moving over from Swansea. In his single previous start, which came March 4 against Leicester, he finished with six shots, though only one on goal. He continues to look for his first score in blue.
