Swansea indicated that the team may be interested in moving to bring Bony back to the club from Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.

Bony moved to City in January of 2015, but has failed to nail down a regular spot in the starting lineup. He is hoping to play regularly, and a move away from Manchester may be necessary for that to happen. He scored six goals in 32 Premier League appearances and has three years remaining on his current contract.

Bony tallied an assist after coming on as a substitute in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Stoke City.

Bony came on for Sergio Aguero after the match was in hand and played the role of distributor, finding Kelechi Iheanacho for the fourth and final goal of the day. The assist was Bony's first since mid-October in a rout of Bournemouth. Since returning from a calf injury, Bony's influence has waned as Iheanacho's has grown in addition to the fitness of Sergio Aguero over this time. He does have nine goals and six assists in 32 matches across all comps this season.

Bony had an assist along with one shot on target in Man City’s 4-0 win against Aston Villa at The Etihad on Saturday.

Aston Villa at home was supposed to be the perfect setting for Bony to fill his boots but the profligate former Swansea man missed numerous chances and with only ten games to go he might not get many more opportunities for City and fantasy managers alike.

Bony (calf) will be available for Sunday's Capital One Cup final against Liverpool.

Bony has been out since the beginning of the year with a calf injury, but finally looks ready to return. While he may struggle to find consistent playing time, the Ivorian Coast center forward will help bolster the team's attacking option. He has nine goals and five assists in 23 matches across all comps.

Bony returned to training this week but will need at least another week before returning from his calf injury, manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday.

Bony has been sidelined since the beginning of January due to the ailment, and with Sergio Aguero fit and Kelechi Iheanacho playing well, he may find playing time hard to come by when he's fit again.

Bony is out for Saturday's match against Leicester City with his same nagging calf injury. Manager Manuel Pellegrini hopes to have Bony working with the team next week.

Bony has had a few bright spots at Manchester City this season, but they are few and far between with only four goals and two assists. Kelechi Iheanacho and Fernando split time against Sunderland, although their fantasy worth is limited.

Bony (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's match against Sunderland. "I don't know if Wilfried's injury is serious but it's long," manager Manuel Pellegrini said Monday. "He tried to start working harder and he couldn't, so now he's restarting.

Bony has dealt with a number of injuries this season, but with Sergio Aguero fully fit, and Kelechi Iheanacho playing well, there is little reason to rush Bony back. His latest absence may not be short either, as Kelechi Iheanacho was added to Man City's Champions League squad Monday to provide depth behind Aguero.
