Bony is out for Saturday's match against Leicester City with his same nagging calf injury. Manager Manuel Pellegrini hopes to have Bony working with the team next week.

Bony has had a few bright spots at Manchester City this season, but they are few and far between with only four goals and two assists. Kelechi Iheanacho and Fernando split time against Sunderland, although their fantasy worth is limited.

Playing against an Everton defense that has struggled this season and will be without Seamus Coleman, Sergio Aguero takes the top spot in one of the positional rankings this week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's match against Sunderland. "I don't know if Wilfried's injury is serious but it's long," manager Manuel Pellegrini said Monday. "He tried to start working harder and he couldn't, so now he's restarting.

Bony has dealt with a number of injuries this season, but with Sergio Aguero fully fit, and Kelechi Iheanacho playing well, there is little reason to rush Bony back. His latest absence may not be short either, as Kelechi Iheanacho was added to Man City's Champions League squad Monday to provide depth behind Aguero.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony (calf) is out for Saturday's match against West Ham.

City is extremely thin up front, and while Bony hasn't been great in the Premier League this season, his absence puts a serious dent in the team's attacking options. He's missed the past two matches thanks to this injury and has been held out of eight matches across all comps this season thanks to a variety of injuries. He has four goals and two assists in 17 Premier League matches, but has nine goals and five assists across all comps.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony (calf) has been ruled out of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace.

Bony has struggled to stay on the pitch and has been mostly ineffective when given chances to play. While Sergio Aguero is fit, Kelechi Ihenacho may get a chance in the starting XI nevertheless. Bony's scored five goals and tallying three assists in six matches outside Premier League play, but has just four goals and two assists in 17 Premier League matches.

Bony (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's match against Everton.

Bony was held out of last week's league cup match against Everton and their FA Cup tie with Norwich on Saturday due to the ailment, and his next opportunity to play will come Saturday against Crystal Palace, though with Sergio Aguero fully fit, Bony's chances for significant playing time are limited.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony is set to miss Wednesday's League Cup match versus Everton because of a calf injury.

The Ivorian's injury is not believed to be serious, as he is expected to be available for Saturday's FA Cup match versus Norwich. Bony has returned to a reserve role of late, but his availability Saturday could be a boost to the squad as they play their third match in a span of seven days.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony attempted two shots and was held scoreless in 26 minutes during Tuesday's goalless draw with Leicester City.

A quiet abbreviated showing for the Ivorian, who rode a stretch of solid productivity into the match. Bony appears to have shifted back to the bench now that City have their full allotment of attackers available, seriously compromising his fantasy value. He could still see the odd start based on matchups, but Bony would be hard-pressed to make a consistent impact if he continues to see minutes off the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bony scored one and missed a penalty in Manchester City's comprehensive 4-1 win against Sunderland at the Etihad on Boxing Day.

Bony is unfortunate insofar as whenever he is called upon to start for City he seems to deliver the goods and Saturday's game was no different. However, with Sergio Aguero back fit and Manuel Pelligrini's penchant for a lone striker, it's tough to see Bony getting regular starts.
