Joel picked up his third consecutive clean sheet Saturday making six saves in the 0-0 draw to Liverpool.

Robles and the Everton defense have turned it around completely as of late recording three consecutive clean sheets and allowing only a single goal in the last four. Robles will continue to fill in for the injured Tim Howard (calf), but has a very difficult match approaching when Everton take on Chelsea on Wednesday.

Joel picked up his second consecutive clean sheet, making two saves in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Joel has filled in admirably for the injured Tim Howard (calf) and has only given up one goal in his last three games. Howard should be returning sooner rather then later, but Robles is a nice cheap option in leagues that still value him as a backup. Robles and Everton have their Merseyside Derby next Saturday when they host Liverpool.

Robles had an easy clean sheet Monday as he made no saves en route to a 0-0 draw against West Brom.

This was a very simple clean sheet for Robles in a game that West Brom was happy parking the bus and taking a scoreless draw. Robles could have taken a nap in goal as Everton dominated possession in the opposing half with a 70-30 advantage. If Everton can maintain this possession rate, Robles could be a fine cheap plug-n-play option for fantasy while Tim Howard remains injured. Robles will likely be starting again in two weeks time when Everton take on Crystal Palace.

Joel Robles had to only make one save in the 1-1 draw to Manchester City Saturday.

It's very surprising to see Man City get only two shots on goal in a match against a defense as poor as Evertons, but give credit to the Toffees after their recent losing streak to bounce back and grab a draw against one of the best teams. Robles will continue to start for the injured Tim Howard (calf) and will likely start next Monday when Everton host West Brom.

Robles got his second consecutive start and struggled once again, allowing two goals on three saves in the 2-0 loss to Hull Thursday.

Everton have been struggling mightily as of late losing six of their last seven matches. Robles will need to find some rhythm with the defense in order to pull the Toffees out of their slump. Unfortunately for them, Everton face Manchester City in their next match on the 10th.

Robles got his first start of the year replacing the injured Tim Howard (calf) and gave up three goals in the 3-2 loss to Newcastle Sunday.

Everton had a rough day Sunday and they never really looked to be in the match. Having numerous starters on the bench alongside with a Howard injury was a recipe for a poor performance. It remains to be seen how much time Howard will miss with his calf injury, but Robles will cover for as long as it takes. Everton travel to Hull next Thursday after losing their last four away games in a row.

Robles, starting for the suspended Tim Howard (red card), made one save and allowed one goal during Everton's 2-1 win over Southampton on Sunday.

Robles is expected to be in goal again when Everton take on Stoke City on New Year's Day. Regardless of how well he plays, he'll return to the bench when Howard's ban concludes.
