Lingard tallied an assist in Sunday's 3-2 victory over Arsenal.

Another facet of United's sudden youth movement, Lingard tallied his first Premier League assist. He's now in a strong run of form, scoring two goals and adding an assist in his past four Premier League matches. The 23-year-old lacks pace, but his skill on the ball will keep him in the starting XI for the foreseeable future.

Lingard (knock) was issued a yellow card in 86 minutes of play in the Thursday's Europa League match against Midtjylland.

Lingard's issues from Monday's FA Cup tie didn't turn out to be anything serious and managed to last almost the full game against the Dane side. He'll be a full go against Arsenal on Sunday.

Lingard scored but picked up a knock in the Monday's FA Cup tie against Shrewsbury. "Jesse Lingard was struggling towards the end too," confirmed manager Louis van Gaal.

The three substitutions were already made and Lingard had to finish the game. He even had a great opportunity to score a brace after the injury but was visibly limping to the end of the game. The winger has been on fire of late scoring three times and assisting twice in his last six games across all competition. If he misses some time Juan Mata will probably move to the right with Ander Herrera taking a more offensive role in the midfield.

Lingard scored Manchester United's opener in their 3-0 win against Norwich City at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Fantasy owners should take note. United created over 10 chances in the first half against Stoke and only time will tell whether this is a turning point or another false dawn, but if they can continue to evolve, previously unfancied. players like Lingard might become realistic fantasy options.

Lingard scored a goal in Tuesday's 3-3 draw with Newcastle United.

Lingard did well to score the first goal from open play of the match, taking a nice feed from Wayne Rooney and calmly slotting the ball through keeper Rob Elliot's legs to double United's advantage. The 23-year-old had a chance for a brace, but leaned back and lofted the ball over the crossbar that would've given United a 3-1 advantage and was quickly removed. He's still not particularly seasoned to first team Premier League football, but has shown flashes of being the real deal.

Lingard (leg) is available off the bench against Sheffield United in the 3rd round of the FA cup on Saturday.

The return of the youngster would be more than welcome as the Red Devils are desperately in need of some offensive spark. Before the injury Lingard had seven appearances (four starts) in Premier League and brought a faster and sharper feel to United's attack. He wasn't much of a fantasy contributor, though, with only one goal and no assists in that span.

Lingard (leg) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Stoke City.

Lingard suffered the injury nearly two weeks ago, and it is unclear if he's even returned to training, which certainly clouds his availability for the rest of the holiday period. Ander Herrera could get a start in Lingard's absence, with Memphis Depay also possibly finding a spot if Marouane Fellaini doesn't make the first XI.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lingard will not play in Saturday's match versus Norwich City because of a leg injury.

The young winger limped off the field in the first half of last week's match versus Bournemouth, and manager Louis Van Gaal confirmed that he will not be fit after only a matter of days to recover. Lingard was replaced by Andreas Perreira last week, but the possible returns of Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera could provide van Gaal with more experienced options Saturday.
