Capoue was stretchered off of Saturday's FA Cup semifinal match against Crystal Palace because of a knee injury.

Capoue's fantasy value wasn't that high given his role as a holding midfielder, so any potential absence isn't likely to move the fantasy needle.

Capoue (illness) is starting Saturday against Spurs.

Capoue was taken off near the end of Wednesday's match against Chelsea due to the illness, but it was never considered serious, and he'll slot back into his starting spot. Given his defensive midfield role, he's a fairly limited fantasy option in most formats.

Capoue is a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur, Adam Newson of the Watford Observer reports.

Capoue played 87 minutes against Chelsea in the teams' mid-week clash; however, he did so with an illness that he's yet to recover from. With that, the former Spurs holding midfielder may have to miss the teams' second meeting. Capoue has started all 24 Premier League matches this season.

Capoue signed a four-year contract with Watford on Monday after transferring from Tottenham for a club record fee.

Capoue battled with injuries two seasons ago, his first at White Hart Lane, and then found playing time very tough to come by under new manager Mauricio Pochettino. He's a big body that can take up a lot of space in the defensive midfield, a position that doesn't always lend itself to big fantasy scores.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Capoue, who has been dealing with an ankle injury for much of the season, played in Tottenham's U-21 match against Reading on Sunday, the club's official web site reports.

Capoue did not suffer any setbacks in the game, and he could very well be available for this weekend's match against West Ham, although he's been out for quite a long time, so he will likely not start the match, limiting his fantasy viability.
