Payet will not have to undergo surgery on the ankle injury that is expected to keep him out for up to three months, reports Sky Sports.

There is no expected return date for the midfielder that injured his ankle in the 1-1 draw with Everton. He said it was a relief that he won't need surgery, but that the news wouldn't change the amount of time he needs to fully recover.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet is expected to be sidelined for three months because of the ankle injury he suffered Saturday against Everton.

Payet has been excellent for the Hammers and fantasy owners this season, as he's scored five goals, assisted on three others and is second in crosses of 102. His absence will be a huge void to fill, as West Ham will have to rely heavily on Manuel Lanzini and Victor Moses to move the midfield.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet came off in the 50th minute of Saturday's match against Everton after picking up a knock.

Payet failed to take a shot during the match, finishing with two fouls drawn, two crosses and one interception before coming off. He has been a vital piece of the Hammers' attack this season, but luckily for the club he will have the international break to recover.

Payet scored and put in 13 crosses during Saturday's 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.

Payet dinked the ball over Palace 'keeper Wayne Hennessey in the 93rd minute after being played through by Manuel Lanzini. During the course of the game, Payet was the fulcrum of the away side's attack and fantasy players will have been happy to see him swing in 13 crosses. With Andy Carroll almost back to full fitness, Payet is only going to get more potent as the season goes on.

Payet scored a goal and had 11 crosses Saturday against Sunderland.

Yet again, the Frenchman lit up the stat sheet after another inspirational performance. He made a ruthless finish capitalizing on Costel Pantilimonís hesitant parry to make the score level. Heís been on fire this season and is a near must-start regardless of opponent.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet tallied an assist while taking one shot (one on target) in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Man City.

Payet has been revelatory over the past two games. After a brace on Monday against Newcastle, Payet continued making positive contributions, finding Victor Moses outside the box for the first goal of the game. Since being acquired over the summer, Payet has been instrumental in the acquisition of every single point thus far this season, en route to the Hammers being second in the table.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet scored two goals on three shots (two on target) in Monday's 2-0 victory over Newcastle.

Despite picking up a knock during training ahead of this match, Payet was able to strike early in both halves, netting goals in the ninth and 48th minutes to secure three points for the Hammers. Payet now sits on three goals and an assist for the season and has been worth every cent of the 15 million euros the team payed for him over the summer.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet (knock) is starting Monday against Newcastle.

Payet's issue was never considered serious, and he'll keep his spot in the starting XI, though Victor Moses will now be on the other side of the field to take up some more defensive attention.
