Payet had two shots (both on target), eight crosses, six dribbles and six key passes in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday.

Payet was yet again the offensive maestro of the team. He's been heavily involved in the construction of almost every attack. The midfielder hasn't been able to snatch either a goal or an assist since Jan. 12 but with six goals and four assist in 17 Premier League appearances and a heavy load of offensive statistics every game, he's still a top fantasy option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet threw team-leading eight crosses, three key passes and two dribbles making the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.

Payet wasn't much of a factor and couldn't help, too much, his team to avoid the defeat. He is still rusty and struggling to gain full fitness and get back to his familiar top form. For what it's worth, at least, he lasted the whole game and may be with a full week of rest will step up his game next Saturday when the Hammers would desperately need his creativity hosting one of the title contenders - Man City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet's availability for this weekend's match versus Newcastle is not beleived to be in jeopardy after he was lifted in the 80th minute of Tuesday's fixture with Bournemouth.

The playmaker was merely said to be dealing with cramps in his legs Tuesday, which is to be expected, considering he was making his first start since returning from a long-term ankle injury. Payet could be held out of the starting lineup, as he will be just four days removed from the Bournemouth match, but his importance to the Hammers suggests he will play as large a role as his legs will allow.

Payet scored, recorded an assist and put in nine crosses during Tuesday's 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Payet curled home a wonderful free kick into the top left corner just after the hour mark. Less than 10 minutes later he evaded challenges from two defenders before crossing for Valencia to volley West Ham into the lead. With that, Payet has been directly involved in 11 of West Ham's goals (six goals, five assists). Not only that, but his side have scored an average of 2.0 goals per league game when he plays this season, compared to 0.7 when he hasn't. Payet has been a vital piece of the Hammers' success this season and luckily for the club he's fully recovered from his ankle injury.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet is starting Tuesday against Bournemouth.

Manage Slaven Bilic said Monday that there was a 99 percent chance Payet will start, and the manager stuck to his words. Payet missed considerable time with an ankle injury, but after coming on as a substitute last week, he'll reclaim his starting spot, where he is expected to take all free kicks and corners.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said Monday that he is "99 percent sure" Payet will start Tuesday against Bournemouth.

Payet returned from an ankle injury last week, though he came off the bench while he continued to work on his match fitness. However, the Frenchman is now set to return to play 90 minutes, which obviously boosts his fantasy upside considerably. Payet was one of the best fantasy options in the Premier League before going down with his injury, and he could very well pick it right back up in his return.

Payet put in 26 minutes of play off the bench in his return from ankle injury snatching two key passes, one dribble and two crosses in the 2-0 win over Liverpool on Saturday.

The French flashed his exceptional technical skills immediately earning the ovations of the crowds. He was sorely missed in the two months of his injury spell after he tallied five goals and three assists in 12 games before that. With no league fixtures in the next 10 days expect him to be able to regain enough fitness and slot right back in the starting XI for the visit to Bournemouth.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Payet (ankle) is available off the bench Saturday against Liverpool.

Payet has been sidelined since the beginning on November, so it's unsurprising that he fails to get a start in his first match back. That being said, he is likely to get some playing time against Liverpool and will likely return to the starting XI in their next league match.
