Alaba kept a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hamburg.

Alaba had a quiet day on the left flank, rarely being tested by the Hamburg attack, but wasn't quite as marauding as he can be. When Alaba plays, Bayern has yet to concede, keeping clean sheets in all seven matches he's started and conceding their only goal of the season in the one he missed. Alaba will be tested by the dangerous Atletico Madrid attack on Wednesday that will put his clean sheet record to the test.

Alaba provided an assist on one key pass and played six crosses in Wednesday's 3-0 win against Hertha Berlin. He also made two interceptions and one tackle to preserve the clean sheet.

Alaba returned to the pitch after he was sidelined with a stomach virus for a few days and was able to register an assist on Franck Ribery's opening goal, although Ribery had to dance around three defenders before poking the ball into the back of the net. Regardless, Alaba now has an two assists in Bundesliga and Champions League matches thus far and provides a powerful combination of defensive prowess and attacking capabilities. Bayern Munich face Hamburger SV this Saturday.

Alaba has returned from a bout with the stomach flu in time to feature in this top of the table clash. He will most likely play in a outside back or holding midfield role. Alaba is always dangerous and could be worth a play in most fantasy formats.

Alaba will miss Saturday's match against Ingolstadt due to a stomach virus.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Alaba played four key passes and six crosses, won six aerials, and blocked two shots to preserve the clean sheet in Friday's 2-0 win against Schalke.

Alaba, like most of Bayern's defenders, was stout in defense and active in attack. The Austrian national played his six crosses in from the left side of the attacking third and three had the accuracy to find a recipient. He should remain a key player for Carlo Ancelotti and earn consistent starts. Bayern Munich face FC Rostov this Tuesday in the Champions League Group Stage.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Alaba kept a clean sheet while playing a pair of key passes and a team-high four crosses in Friday's 6-0 win against Werder Bremen.

Alaba seems to have put his Euro 2016 disappointment behind him and helped Bayern Munich earn a dominant win in the opening match of the season. He was subbed off in the 77th minute for Juan Bernat, although the defending champions had already scored six goals by that point in the match. Bayern Munich face Schalke 04 on 9 Sept after the international break.
