Aubameyang looked threatening throughout but couldn't leave a mark on proceedings as Dortmund lost 2-1 Saturday at Werder Bremen.

Aubameyang was typically menacing on the wing, always prepared to run at defenders and whip in dangerous crosses into the box. However his deliveries were not met with clinical finishes, not one of his six crosses being converted by his team-mates. Aubameyang finishes the year with five season goals and three assists, a decent return for a player in a team sitting in the automatic relegation spots.

Aubameyang scored Dortmund's first goal as they drew 2-2 Wednesday with Wolfsburg.

Aubameyang didn't have his liveliest game but grabbed a goal nonetheless, taking just 8 minutes to find the net. The striker slid in to meet Ciro Immobile's cross for his fifth Bundesliga goal of the season. Aside from the brigt start, he made several runs, had two shots and produced three crosses to help earn Dortmund a point.

Aubameyang was lively but ultimately lacked a cutting edge as Dortmund fell to a 1-0 defeat Saturday to Hertha Berlin.

Aubameyang had by no means a terrible game but didn't provide his usual incisive forward play. He managed to put a couple of crosses into the box that provided half-chances but personally had little to offer in front of goal.

Aubameyang made an assist and had two efforts ruled out for offside Friday in Dortmund's 1-0 win against Hoffenheim.

Aubameyang whipped in a fine delivery for Ilkay GŁndoğan to score in a very eventful game for the forward. Lively as ever, Aubameyang was a constant threat in attack and it only took him 17 minutes to set-up the sole goal of the game. He was also very unlucky not to be on the scoresheet himself, having a goal wrongly chalked off for offside and then later finding the net again, only for the linesman to raise his flag once more. Furthermore Aubameyang had a low shot saved by Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann on 60 minutes in what was a superb overall attacking display.

Aubameyang was far from clinical as an energetic performance yielded no goals Sunday in Dortmund's 2-0 loss to Eintracht Frnakfurt.

Typically lively, Aubameyang made several runs and had a game high of six shots. However he wasted his first half opportunities and shot badly over in the second half as the forward failed to continue his Bundesliga scoring streak after scoring against Paderborn last time out.

Aubameyang had an off game and was substituted on 61 minutes as Dortmund were beaten by Arsenal 2-0 Wednesday in the Champions League.

Aubameyang was unusually ineffective as Dortmund lost their first game of the Champions League campaign. He rarely threatened the Arsenal goal and was taken off for the livelier Adrian Ramos just after the hour. With Champions League qualification already ensured however, Aubameyang may have had his mind on Sunday's crucial Bundesliga encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Aubameyang scored and got an assist in Dortmund's 2-2 draw Saturday with SC Paderborn.

Aubameyang was initially a doubt for the game having suffered from gastric flu through the week. There was no sign of lingering fatigue however as Aubameyang scored his first Bundesliga goal since Sept. 29 and then assisted Dortmund's second goal in the first half. On 12 minutes Aubameyang converted Erik Durm's assist and on half-time executed an excellent reverse pass to put Marco Reus in on goal. In addition, Aubameyang missed two early opportunities and had one shot saved in the second half as the lively winger showed just how much of a threat he can be for Dortmund.

Aubameyang was full of energy and creative throughout as Dortmund dominated Borussia Moenchengladbach in a 1-0 win Sunday.

It says a lot about how dominant Dortmund were in attack against Gladbach when Aubameyang had 4 shots on goal but ranked only third place for shots in his team. He was part of a fine Dortmund attack and apart from having a shot well-saved by Gladbach goalkeeper in the first half, Aubameyang made several pacey and incisive runs which the opposition found difficult to deal with. It was another decent game for Aubameyang, although with only three goals in the league this season the former St-Etienne man will be looking to add to his tally in upcoming games.
