Cabella saw a lot of the ball Saturday but was unable to make much fantasy impact in Newcastle's 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace.

Cabella was again the spark plug for Newcastle, managing 85 touches, two key passes, and a shot, albeit not on target. Cabella has looked threatening over his first three matches in the Premier League, but has yet to get on the scoresheet. The French import's potential is high, but fantasy owners will want to monitor Cabella's output over the next few weeks before jumping all in.

Cabella didn't manage a shot on target in Newcastle's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.

Cabella has looked good in his first two matches but hasn't be able to find that finishing touch. The 24-year-old should benefit from Siem de Jong rejoining the starting XI and will look to get Newcastle on the board next week against Crystal Palace at St. James' Park.

Cabella played a full 90 minutes in Newcastle's 0-2 loss to Manchester City on Sunday.

Cabella was perhaps the most creative man on the pitch Sunday, providing Newcastle supporters and fantasy owners glimpses of the 24-year-old's potential. Cabella lead Newcastle in both key passes (3) and touches (83) and should continue to see lots of the ball. The former Montpellier man's link up play with fellow new signing Emmanuel Riviere looked threatening at times, but neither we able to find the back of the net. Cabella looks to be a solid mid range fantasy option with top tier upside if things start clicking.

Cabella signed a six-year contract with Newcastle on Sunday after transferring from Ligue 1 side Montpellier, the club's official web site reports.

Cabella is an attacking midfielder that will help Newcastle try to fill the void left by Yohan Cabaye after he was sold to Paris Saint-Germain in January. He is coming off an excellent season in which he scored 14 goals and recorded five assists in 36 league appearances.

Cabella was added to the France squad for the World Cup after Franck Ribery was ruled out with a back injury Friday, ESPN FC reports.

Cabella is coming off an excellent Ligue 1 season, when he led all midfielders with 14 goals while providing five assists for Montpellier. Losing Ribery is a huge loss for France, but Cabella has plenty of talent to help fill the void.

Cabella led Ligue 1 midfielders with 14 goals and also contributed five assists for Montpellier this season.

Cabella built on last season's haul of seven goals and eight assists with another impressive campaign this time around. With Montpellier's next best scorer claiming just four goals, Cabella really carried his team offensively. In doing so, clubs from around Europe took notice, leading Newcastle United of England to reportedly reach a pre-contract agreement with Cabella in January to add him this summer. Should that move come to fruition, Cabella would add another Frenchman to a Magpie setup in need of offensive reinforcements.

Cabella, who also found the net last weekend, has now scored 13 goals for Montpellier this season, easily making him the club's leader in the department. In fact, the Frenchman also leads all Ligue 1 midfielders in goals, making him a great fantasy player.

Cabella is enjoying a wonderful run of form, as the midfielder has now tallied four goals and two assists over his past four league games.
