Chiriches picked up two yellow cards and a subsequent red card in the 3-0 loss to Stoke Saturday.

Chiriches has barely played this season playing only ten games and he very well might have played in his last game of the season with only two games remaining. Spurs desperately need help defensively and Chiriches time at Spurs' may be short if they make some moves this Summer. Chiriches will miss Spurs next match against Hull next Saturday.

Chiricheș (back) is unavailable for Saturday's Premier League opener against West Ham.

Chiricheș was expected to face a late fitness test, but he clearly wasn't strong enough to go. His next opportunity comes Aug. 24 against QPR.

Chiriches will not travel with the club to the United States and Canada for its preseason tour due to a back injury, The Guardian reports.

Chiriches dealt with a back injury in the latter part of last season, so it's a little troubling that the issue continues to bother him. He's obviously not a great fantasy option if he continues to have to sit out with the injury.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Chiriches returned from a back injury to start and play all 90 minutes of Monday's 5-1 rout of Sunderland.

Chiriches had not played since January 29 against Manchester City, but put up a decent performance Monday. Up next is an enticing road match at West Brom, before a better one at home against Fulham on April 19.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Chiriches is expected to return from his back injury Monday against Sunderland, the club's official web site reports.

Chiriches has appeared in only 13 games this season, last featuring on January 29 against Manchester City. If he's able to start Monday's match, he certainly comes back to a fine clean sheet opportunity.

Chiricheș, who was expected to return from a back injury for Sunday's game against Liverpool, played in an U-21 match Friday and will likely not return to the first team until April 7 against Sunderland, the club's official web site reports.

Returning against Liverpool likely wasn't an attractive option for fantasy owners, but Chiricheș could be put into the conversation with a gameweek 33 home match against Sunderland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Chiricheș has been ruled out of Sunday's match against Everton, the Tottenham Journal reports.

The news of the injury is recent and it's unclear exactly how long Chiricheș will be out. He wasn't close to making Sunday's match, which means it'll be very surprising if he's fit by Wednesday to face Newcastle. After that, his next shot will come February 23 against Norwich City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Tottenham are hopeful that Chiricheș will be fit for Sunday's Premier League match against Liverpool after undergoing a platelet-rich plasma technique on his knee, the Irish Times reports.

Chiricheș scored his first league goal of the season against Fulham on December 4 but then had to sit out last week against Sunderland after taking a shot to his knee. The team sounds confident that he'll be ready, although it wouldn't be surprising if he missed this week to recover for the following one.
