Valdes made five saves and kept a clean sheet in Saturday's scoreless draw with Arsenal.

While still a bit loose in possession, Valdes was strong throughout the afternoon, making five saves and adding three claims to keep his first ever Premier League clean sheet across his stints with Manchester United and Boro. He'll look for his second of the season next Saturday home against Bournemouth.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes made one save and conceded once in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Watford.

Watford looked on the front foot for much of the match, but were only able to break through on a well-taken strike from outside the box by Jose Holebas into the upper corner. Now at 34, Valdes isn't quite the same keeper he once was, but the typically stout Boro defense will keep most matches low-scoring. He'll be tested early and often next weekend when they travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes made one save while conceding one in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against West Ham.

Valdes was unable to maintain his first clean sheet of the season as Dimitri Payet beat five Boro defenders before slotting in a beautiful goal. The Hammers have been in bad form of late and could not put much pressure on Valdes, as fantasy teams were hoping for more saves. Valdes’ next match is in two weeks against Watford.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes made three saves and conceded twice in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

After being passed over in favor of Brad Guzan for two of Middlesbrough's first three matches, Valdes has returned for the last three; however, things have gone south for Boro. In the three matches Valdes has started in a row—granted against stiffer competition than Sunderland and West Brom—Valdes has conceded seven goals and they haven't secured as much as a point from nine. Valdes should still be in the starting XI next Saturday against West Ham, but manager Aitor Karanka will certainly have decisions to make.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes allowed three goals and made three saves during Saturday's loss to Everton.

Valdes and company enjoyed a brief lead on a dubious own-goal call in the 21st minute, but the Toffees leveled just three minutes later and spent most of the rest of the match on the front foot. Valdes has now conceded five goals in two matches since returning from a leg injury, and things will not get any easier next Saturday versus Tottenham.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes conceded twice and made four stops in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Palace.

Hard to put blame on Valdes for either goal, particularly the second when he was failed miserably by left back George Friend. Though he's a big name, Valdes isn't worth a start at keeper in any formats. He's already struggling with fitness and his four saves Saturday were his first four of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes (hamstring) is starting on Saturday against Crystal Palace.

Valdes' return to fitness will push Brad Guzan to the bench. The matchup is one that looks good on paper, as Palace have really struggled to score early this season, though they do have a solid group of attackers that could break out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Valdes should be available for Saturday's match versus Crystal Palace after recovering from a hamstring injury, The Sun reports.

Valdes missed the last couple of weeks because of the injury, but he had ample time to heal during the international break and returned to training this week. Brad Guzan has filled in admirably for Valdes, however, so it remains to be seen who will start in goal this weekend.
