O’Keefe (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday’s trip to Newcastle, according to the club website.

O’Keefe was called in as a last minute replacement for Joe Ledley (groin) against West Ham United and stayed on for the full 90 minutes despite carrying an injury for part of the game. New manager Neil Warnock is expected to name Adlène Guédioura as O’Keefe’s replacement after the Algerian impressed during the routine 3-0 win against Walsall in the Capital One Cup second round.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

O'Keefe made his first start of the season in Saturday's match with West Ham United.

O'Keefe replaced Joe Ledley, who was injured in the warm up, and slotted in alongside Mile Jedinak as a holding midfielder. O'Keefe was eventually replaced in the 83rd minute by Glenn Murray and represents little value to fantasy owners due to his defensive positioning and status as a backup to Ledley.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

O'Keefe has been in Crystal Palace's starting XI just two times this season and has produced only one goal. He had very little fantasy value before the injury and there is no reason to change that outlook.

O'Keefe was held out of Saturday's Premier League match against Newcastle due to a muscle complaint, Sky Sports reports.

O'Keefe doesn't get many starts for Crystal Palace as it is, so his absence likely didn't hurt many fantasy owners.

O'Keefe came on for Aaron Wilbraham in the 83rd minute and was able to bang one home late to solidify the first points for Palace this season.
