Guedioura had one assist, two shots and sent in two crosses in Saturday's 2-1 loss against Chelsea.

Guedioura has not been actively involved in the attack during the first two matches, but sent in a beautiful far-post cross that Etienne Capoue finished with a header. Guedioura's next match is Saturday against Arsenal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura (knock) is starting Saturday against Southampton.

Guedioura dealt with a number of injuries last season that limited his fantasy upside, but he'll be in the first XI on Saturday against a tough Southampton outfit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura is attempting to recover his fitness from past injuries and will be doubtful for Saturday's match with Southampton, the Watford Observer reports.

Guedioura lacked consistent fantasy value last season and will have to prove his worth to manager Walter Mazzarri before receiving regular playing time. At this time, Guedioura's fantasy value is low.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura recorded an assist and had two shot attempts in Saturday's 1-0 win over West Brom.

In a rare start for the Algerian, Guedioura's assist came on a corner that looked like it would hit the first defender, but a great run from Watson directed it into the net. Even if Guedioura continues to start in the Watford midfield, there's still not enough of a track record there for him to be a usable fantasy player.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura (knock) is available off the bench Saturday against Norwich City.

While the return to fitness is good news, a defender on the bench hardly warrants fantasy consideration.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura has appeared in both Premier League games since new manager Alan Pardew was appointed.

Guedioura has been brought on as a second half substitute in both games and had a positive impact in central midfield thanks to his combative nature. The midfielder also spent a month on loan at Watford earlier this season, where he scored twice in six games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guedioura appeared as an 84th minute substitute in Sunday's 3-2 win against Everton.

Guedioura replaced James McArthur in the centre of midfield and had a chance to put the game out of sight but pulled his shot wide of the goal. Guedioura won't register on most fantasy manager radars due to his lack of goals and assists that stem from a dearth of appearances.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guédioura could be in line for a first Premier League start of the season in Saturday’s game at Newcastle United.

Guédioura should benefit from injuries to both Joe Ledley (groin) and Stuart O’Keefe (ankle) to fill in as central midfielder alongside Mile Jedinak. Guédioura set up one of Dwight Gayle’s goals in the 3-0 rout of Walsall in the Capital One Cup second round and holds more of an attacking threat than both Ledley and O’Keefe. Should Guédioura impress new boss Neil Warnock, fantasy owners could see small benefits in the assist column, however, he is still very much a low-level fantasy option.
