Vazquez (hamstring) didn't make the 20-man squad Friday versus Las Palmas.

Vazquez didn't stand much of a chance to start anyways with Gerard Moreno, Pablo Piatti and Leo Baptistao on top form upfront. Vazquez has only logged two appearances off the bench, thus far, this season with no goals scored.

Vazquez suffered a groin injury during Wednesday's win over Newcastle, forcing him off after just 28 minutes, the Daily Mail reports.

Vazquez got the start with Wilfried Bony out with a hamstring strain. Bony could return for Monday's fixture against Hull City, which would put Vazquez's shot at more playing time even further in danger.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vazquez makes the move to Swansea City from Spanish side Getafe on a season long loan, the Mirror reports.

Vazquez's first team action was somewhat limited at Getafe so he will look to make the most of his opportunity with Swansea City. He will most likely provide depth for the Swansea attack, with Wilfred Bony and Michu firmly entrenched in the starting XI.
