Ward (knock) is starting Saturday against Manchester United.

Ward recently returned from a knee injury, but he'll be thrust into the starting lineup, with Pape Souare unable to play because of his own knock, leaving Martin Kelly in the first XI as well.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ward (knock) is questionable for Saturday's match against Manchester United.

Ward missed time with a knee issue recently, and while he was able to make a substitute appearance during the Eagles' mid-week Capital One Cup match against Manchester City, he may not be strong enough to supplant Martin Kelly in the starting XI on Saturday.

Ward (knee) is not in the 18-man squad to face Leicester City on Saturday.

Ward returned to training this week but apparently is still working on his match fitness, which is why he is out Saturday. Martin Kelly will continue to start in Ward's absence.

Ward (knee) returned to training Tuesday and could feature Saturday against Leicester City, the Croydon Advertiser reports.

Assistant manager Keith Millen said Ward is recovered from his injury but is still working on his match fitness, which could keep him from starting against the Foxes. If he's on the bench, Martin Kelly will likely continue to start, though it's a tough fantasy matchup.

Ward (knee) is doubtful for Saturday's match against West Ham, the South London Press reports.

Ward has been out since the second week of September after suffering the injury in training, and while he's unlikely to play Saturday, he may be able to return for Palace's next match, which will come Oct. 25 at Leicester City.

Ward (knee) won't take part this Saturday against West Bromwich Albion, according to manager Alan Pardew.

Ward (knee) has not recovered fully enough to return to his spot at right back and Martin Kelly will continue in his place. The medical team told manager Alan Pardew that they expect Ward to return against West Ham on October 17. Ward has been prolific from a fantasy point of view this season with two goals and will look for that trend to continue when he returns.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ward (knee) has been ruled out for up to four weeks due to an injury in training, according to manager Alan Pardew.

Ward (knee) suffered the injury training and is likely to be replaced by back-up Martin Kelly. Ward has been one of the most potent scorers in most fantasy games so far this season with two goals yet has failed to register one clean sheet. Expect him to return on Oct. 17 against West Ham United.

Ward scored the winner in Saturday's 2-1 win at Chelsea.

Ward found himself in the right place as Bakary Sako knocked back Yannick Bolasie's shot into his path and the right back made no mistake with an 81st minute header from three yards out. Ward has two goals on the season and has been given license by manager Alan Pardew to bomb forwards at any opportunity.
