Kroos won two tackles, attempted three shots, put in six crosses and earned the assist on the only goal of Sunday's 1-0 win over the Ukraine.

Kroos was exceptional in terms of controlling play in the middle of the field, as he had an absurd 129 touches on the ball. He generated his assist via a pinpoint free-kick to the head of Shkrodan Mustafi, and narrowly missed netting a goal of his own when his long-range effort nicked the crossbar in the first half. Kroos thrives as the midfield fulcrum for the reigning World champions, and carries considerable fantasy value despite not being deployed in an attacking role.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kroos provided four crosses and made two key passes, including his fifth assist of the season, in Sunday's draw with Valencia.

The German has been a bit of a stranger to the score sheet this season, but he continues to pull the strings in the Madrid midfield, as he amazingly completed all 80 of his passes in Sunday's match. Kroos is unlikely to become an impact fantasy contributor with so many attacking options to carry the load for Los Blancos, but he does hold a bit of value in formats that reward action stats. A home matchup versus Deportivo is next on the schedule.

Kroos assisted Jese just before half- time for what would be the last goal of the game. The German was dynamic throughout, taking a game-high number of 101 touches, producing five crosses and hitting one shot. He was eventually substituted for Borja Mayoral with three minutes of regular time to play.

Kroos set-up Cristiano Ronaldo's record-breaking goal to double Real's lead. The German produced four crosses to contribute a decent attackng threat and also registered a shot before the game was out. Kroos however, although showing some flashes of brilliance, is still struggling to match his fine form of last season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kroos produced a decent all-round midfield performance Saturday as Real Madrid tied 0-0 with Malaga.

Kroos took a game-higher number of 114 touches and made 105 passes as he largely ran the show in midfield. The German perhaps didn't get forward as much as he'd like to however, not taking up many attacking positions and having just one shot.

Kross played 62 minutes as Real Madrid defeated Granada 1-0 Saturday.

Kroos has struggled to match the dynamic performaces of last season so far this campaign and it was a similar story against Granada. He did register an impressive pass accuracy of 92.5% but rarely made a threatening ball and was replaced by Mateo Kovacic just after the hour as a consequence.

Kroos had an assist Saturday in Real Madrid's dominant 5-0 win over Real Betis.

Kross assisted James' acrobatic 50th minute effort as Real ran out comfortable winners. The midfielder didn't have much of an impact aside from that however, receiving a yellow card and being substitued for Casemiro with 63 minutes played.

Kroos played the full 90 minutes as Real Madrid tied 0-0 Sunday at Sporting Gijon.

Kroos maintained a high standard of passing in midfield but missed the spark to drive his side forward to grab the win. The German had just one shot and stuggled to really impose himself on the game.
