Kroos was named to the FIFA FIFPro World XI on Monday.

Kroos is coming off a remarkable year from a trophy standpoint, as he won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich and then the World Cup with Germany before transferring to Real Madrid. As a holding midfielder, he doesn't always get a ton of fantasy stats in traditional games -- he had just two goals and four assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances last season -- but he's getting a little more involved this season, as he has one goal and seven assists in 17 La Liga starts this term.

Kroos finally nabbed his first goal for Real Madrid in Saturday's 5-1 romp over Rayo Vallecano.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kroos picked up his fourth assist of the season in Real Madrid's 5-0 win over Levante on Saturday.

While Kroos plays a much more defensive role for Madrid, he continues to find himself in a position to help out on goals purely because of the incredible weapons around him. That being said, his fantasy value is still a bit limited, especially against the other offensive weapons in the squad.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kroos picked up an assist in Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Villarreal on Saturday, his third of the season.

With so many offensive stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema in front of him, Kroos is bound to find himself on the receiving end of a few assists, but he's not primarily focused on the attack, which limits his value in many fantasy leagues.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kroos started and played all 90 minutes of Real Madrid's 5-1 Champions League rout of FC Basel on Tuesday, but he did not attempt a shot.

Kroos is playing a bit of a deeper role, with Luka Modric getting more involved on the attack. However, he still has the opportunity for plenty of assists, of which he has two through Madrid's first three league matches.

Kroos' corner was headed in by Sergio Ramos in the fifth minute of Real Madrid's 4-2 loss to Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Kroos now has an assist in both of Madrid's La Liga matches this season and he'll continue to be a vital piece of the attack, although mostly as a distributor for Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema, among others.

Kroos picked up an assist on Karim Benzema's 30th-minute goal during Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Cordoba on Monday.

Kroos looked very comfortable playing in his first La Liga match for Real Madrid, and with punishing goal-scorers like James Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema around him, Kroos could rack up the assists this season.
