Bertrand scored from the spot, his only shot on goal, in Sunday's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Much like his steady play at left back this year, Bertrand's left-footed penalty was calm, cool and collected. It was also a nice gift if you started him thinking Saints clean sheet. This season Bertrand and Jose Fonte continued to cement themselves as the defensive leaders for Southampton, though Bertrand had a down year compared to last, mostly due to two minor injuries.

Manchester City need just a point to solidify their Champions League spot for next season, which keeps Kevin De Bruyne near the top of the midfielder rankings for the final week of the season.

Bertrand had one assist and three tackles in Saturday's 4-2 win over Aston Villa.

Bertrand avoided any letdown to those who played him for a likely clean sheet by picking up an assist to go along with three tackles and four interceptions. He's a great left back, but it's hard to see him putting up big fantasy numbers next week against a City attack that just netted four goals.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand (leg) is starting Sunday versus Leicester.

Bertrand's return could be vital for the Saints' hopes to steal something out of the league leaders but he hasn't been much of a fantasy factor, nevertheless, with no goals, two assists and six yellow cards in 25 Premier League games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand (leg) withdrew from the England squad earlier in the week, but will be available for Southampton against Leicester City, according to manager Ronald Koeman.

This is good news for the Southampton back line who have a tough meeting with Leicester. Even with Bertand in the lineup, it's hard to trust the Saints in this matchup, as they haven't held a clean sheet in five straight.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand missed training ahead of England's match versus Germany because of a knock, the Mirror reports.

The fullback reportedly picked up the injury during Southampton's win over Liverpool, and he is considered doubtful to play in the friendly. Bertrand's injury is not believed to be serious, however, and he should be ready for the Saints' match versus Leicester on Apr. 3.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand kept a clean sheet during Saturday's 1-0 win over Swansea City.

Bertrand has been a consistent starter all year and now has lengthened the clean sheet streak to six matches in a row. The backline of Southampton will look to keep the streak alive in the upcoming match against Chelsea.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand kept a clean sheet in Tuesday's scoreless draw with Arsenal.

Since making a crucial error against West Ham, Bertrand has acquitted himself well over the past five matches. The team's conceded just once in that period and has kept four-straight clean sheets.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bertrand provided eight crosses in Monday's 2-1 loss to West Ham, but he also picked up a yellow card and made a crucial error that led to the tying goal.

The 26-year-old provided a constant threat going forward, but his clumsy clearance in the 69th minute ricocheted off of Michail Antonio and over Maarten Stekelenberg to tie the match. Southampton looked to be on the rise after the huge Boxing Day win over Arsenal, but Monday's setback did little to help the momentum build. Still, Bertrand is a regular starter and a serviceable fantasy option given the right matchup, and this will remain the case for Saturday's match versus Norwich.
