Dante was transfered to Wolfsburg on Sunday and intends to sign a three-year contract upon the completion of his physical.

Dante was removed from the starting XI recently and reportedly asked for his release shortly thereafter. He'll likely start for Wolfsburg as a 31-year-old central defender who only compiled three total goals during his three years with Bayern Munich.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dante recorded his fourth Bundesliga clean sheet of the season in Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over Hannover 96 on Saturday.

While he doesn't figure in the attack at all (zero shots this season), the Bayern defense has been excellent this season and Dante has been able to benefit. In addition to his four league clean sheets, he also has one in the Champions League. The only issue he has to deal with is playing time, as he's come off the bench in three of the last eight matches in all competitions.

Dante is expected to start Brazil's World Cup semifinal match against Germany on Tuesday in place of Thiago Silva, who is ineligible after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament in the quarterfinal against Colombia, The Guardian reports.

If there is one team that Dante is familiar with it's Germany, who have a number of his Bayern Munich teammates on the squad, including Thomas Muller, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Mario Gotze and Toni Kroos. That being said, he doesn't have much scoring upside and is unlikely to record a clean sheet against the strong German attack.

Dante (ankle) is in the starting XI for Saturday's Bundesliga match against TSG Hoffenheim.

Dante has been battling an ankle issue for a while now and it seemed like he was going to miss Saturday's match. Not only is he available, he is starting, although it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't last the full 90 with a Champions League tilt against Viktoria Plzen coming up Tuesday.

Dante has returned to training but continues to struggle with his ankle problem, Goal.com reports. "He has trained well," said manager Pep Guardiola, "although there are still little problems."

It seems that Saturday's match against TSG Hoffenheim could be too soon for Dante, who could be available for Tuesday's Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dante suffered a deep cut to his left ankle during Saturday's match against Mainz, which will sideline him for 10-to-14 days.

Dante was subbed off for David Alaba before halftime and was stitched up during the break. Dante hasn't provided much fantasy value this season outside of his clean sheets, although he did record an assist during Bayern's Champions League match against Manchester City on October 2.
