Okazaki scored a goal on one shot (one on target) in Monday's 1-0 victory over Newcastle United.

While his teammates up front (Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez) have gotten all of the headlines, Okazaki is having a strong season while playing mostly the No. 9 role. His goal was the only shot on target of the match for the Foxes as they held in defense and continued their march toward the title. He's up to five goals and two assists on the season and could continue to provide goals here and there as Leicester finish the season out against mostly bottom-half sides.

Olivier Giroud has a goal and two assists in his last two matches, and with Danny Welbeck's knee injury, the Frenchman has no competition for playing time in Sunday's season-finale.

Okazaki scored on his only shot in a 1-1 draw to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Okazaki is one of the only forwards on this team who has been struggling, but he's been playing better recently. He now has three goals on the season, which all came in his last six games. Okazaki should be able to continue to build off this run, as this is one of the most potent offenses in the Premier League.

Okazaki got off three shots and scored Leicester's final goal in a 3-2 win over Everton on Saturday.

Okazaki has three goals in 16 games but has failed to capitalize on the tremendous scoring of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez by picking up assists, as he has zero this season. He's also battling for playing time with Leonardo Ulloa, which limits his fantasy upside.

Okazaki punched a goal in off his lone shot in 27 minutes of play off the bench in the 3-0 away win over Newcastle on Saturday.

A hesitant Rob Elliot left the ball in Okazakiís feet at the six-yard box and after a quick scramble the ball, eventually, crossed the line for the third goal. The Japanese started the season as a first-team member but has been unimpressive as of late and dropped to the bench for this game. With Leonardo Ulloa playing well look for this trend to continue and Okazakiís fantasy value to diminish off the bench.

Okazaki scored in Saturdayís 2-1 win at West Ham.

Okazaki opened his account for his new club after a Jamie Vardy cross found him in the 28th minute. His initial effort was saved by West Ham Ďkeeper Adrian before it fell straight back to him and he slammed the ball home.

Okazaki enjoyed another productive campaign for Mainz, totaling 14 goals and three assists in 34 starts.

The Japanese striker fizzled out a bit after starting the season with eight goals in his first 13 matches, but still finished with double digit goals for the second straight season after an unproductive stint with Stuttgart. Okazaki has drawn interest from the Premier League in recent weeks, with Leicester City reportedly in hot pursuit of the 29-year-old.

Okazaki scored two first half goals as Mainz beat Freiburg 3-2 Saturday.

The striker scored his 11th and 12th league goals of the season to help send Mainz on the way to victory. The Japanese striker showed how clinical he can be in front of goal by scoring both of his shots that hit the target.

Okazaki only registered one shot Saturday as Mainz lost 3-2 to Bayer Leverkusen.

Okazaki played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's defeat but made little impact. He only got on the ball 26 times, lower than any other starting player.
