Gnabry will play in an U-21 match against Newcastle on Monday as he continues to recover from a knee injury, manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday.

Gnabry will continue to work on his fitness before being considered the first team, though with the Arsenal midfield fairly fit right now, he's unlikely to garner much playing time.

Manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday that Gnabry (knee) is back in full training, but he'll have to play a number of U-21 games before he returns to the first-team.

Given Gnabry's extended absence, he is far from match fit at this point, which is why Wenger wants him to get a few lower-level games in before thinking of naming him to a first-team squad. That being said, even when he is fully fit, he is too far down the depth chart to make much of a fantasy impact.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said Gnabry (knee) is "not quite ready yet" to return.

Gnabry has yet return to training, but he is still some ways off from being available for selection. However, even when he does get to that point, there are plenty of players ahead of him on the depth chart, which keeps his fantasy prospects pretty limited.

Gnabry (knee) has returned to full training but he is unlikely to play Saturday against Hull City, manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday.

Gnabry has not played since April due to his knee injury, and while he has returned to full training, he and Theo Walcott, who suffered a torn ACL in January, appear to be at least a week away from being available for selection.

Gnabry (knee) has been training with the first team, manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday, and he could return to matches after the international break, possibly as early as Oct. 18 against Hull City.

Gnabry will in all likelihood be slowly brought back into the mix, although with a number of injuries to the Arsenal midfield, his playing time could be plentiful if he can get back to full match fitness sooner rather than later.

Gnabry (knee) is expected to return to full training next week, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed Tuesday.

Gnabry has been sidelined due to a knee injury thus far, but will join fellow winger Theo Walcott (knee) in returning to training next week. At just 19 years old, Gnabry represents a bright young talent, although Arsenal's squad depth prevents him from receiving consistent playing time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gnabry is still not fit from his knee injury and manager Arsene Wenger said Thursday he does not know when Gnabry will be able to return.

Gnabry wasn't expected to have a big role this season anyway, so the Gunners have no reason to rush him back before he's fully fit.

Gnabry will not be available for Sunday's match against Everton due to a knee injury, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

Gnabry wasn't getting much playing time lately anyway, so this should affect many fantasy teams.
