Berahino (foot) is in the starting XI for Tuesday's match against Aston Villa.

Berahino injured his foot two weekends ago and then aggravated it Saturday against Southampton, but he apparently did well enough in his late fitness test to start Tuesday, which he'll do alongside Brown Ideye, who injured his knee against the Saints.

Berahino faces a late fitness test ahead of Tuesday's match against Aston Villa after aggravating a foot injury Saturday against Southampton, the Birmingham Mail reports.

Berahino netted the winner against Southampton before coming off with the injury, but it was confirmed after the match that he needed an injection in his foot just to play against United after hurting it the previous week against Sunderland. Even if he is allowed to play against Villa, it seems pretty clear that he will be far from 100 percent. Making matters worse for West Brom, Brown Ideye is also facing a late fitness test because of a knee injury, and Victor Anichebe remains out with a groin ailment.

Berahino suffered a foot injury during Saturday's match against Southampton, and manager Tony Pulis said he will have scans Sunday to determine his availability for Tuesday's match against Stoke City.

West Brom also lost Brown Ideye to injury, his a knee issue, which could leave them quite shorthanded in attack against Stoke.

Berahino picked up an injury in the second half of Saturday's match against Southampton and had to come off.

Berahino scored in the second minute of the match, but couldn't get much going after that. It was his 11th goal this season, which trails only Sergio Aguero (17), Diego Costa (17), Harry Kane (14) and Charlie Austin (14).

Berahino didn't score in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Sunderland.

Berahino didn't even manage one shot on goal in the stalemate that saw West Brom register just a single shot on target all game. Berahino still has 10 league goals this season and a home fixture next time out against Southampton could see him reach a round dozen for the season.

Berahino scored his 10th goal of the season in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Swansea.

Berahino emphatically finished Brown Ideye's cut back in the 74th minute to make the points safe before wheeling away to the West Brom fans and kissing the badge on his chest. Berahino has made no bones about his desire to move away and every goal he scores will only push his price tag up.

Berahino was an early substitute in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Burnley.

Berahino replaced injured striker Victor Anichebe in the 17th minute after being left on the bench by manager Tony Pulis after recent comments in the media about leaving the club. He ended up having four shots, one on target, and couldn't add to his team-high tally of 10 goals so far this season.
