Berahino (ankle) made an appearance off the bench in Saturday's 3-0 loss to West Ham.

Berahino missed Monday's game against the Spurs with his minor ailment and only made it to the bench versus the Hammers but finally returned to the pitch making two shots off target and one cross in 30 minutes of play. Berahino has missed several good scoring opportunities of late and the injury on top of that will probably hamper his fantasy upside a little bit. The Baggies, however, are facing a softer defense next Saturday in the face of Bournemouth.

Berahino did not play Monday against Spurs because of an ankle injury, according to manager Tony Pulis.

Berahino apparently was dealing with the ankle issue before last week's match against Arsenal, and with West Brom having little to play for at this point in the season, there was no need to risk him.

Rumors suggest Tottenham are ready to rekindle their interest in Berahino this summer and could commit 24 million to sign him, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham have failed to sign the forward in each of the last two transfer windows, but he remains a primary transfer target for the team. The striker enters the final year of his contract with West Brom this summer.

Berahino scored on two shots (one on target) and added three key passes in Saturday's 3-2 goal thrilling win over Crystal Palace.

Slowly but surely Berahino seems to be gaining his old form back. He had a great game and had a brilliant finish for the goal in a rejuvenated Baggies' offense. He was unfortunate to also take a shot off the post. That's his first Premier League goal since Oct 17 (four total) in his fourth straight start across all competitions. Obviously he decided to end the mourning over his failed transfers and his fantasy stocks are going off the roof.

Manager Tony Pulis said that Berahino has a long-term future with the club despite the player's concerns about not being sold during the winter transfer window, reports Sky Sports.

Berahino was a substitute against Swansea, coming on in the 62nd minute. Pulis added that the team has an option on the striker's contract in addition to the remaining term. Other reports have said that the player will seek to meet with chairman Jeremy Peace in the next few weeks to discuss not being sold.

Berahino left training Monday after picking up a knock, according to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.

There was rampant speculation that Berahino finally got his long-desired move away from The Hawthorns after he was seen leaving training, but those hopes were quickly dispelled with the news that it was injury-related. Despite a reported 21 million bid from Newcastle, Berahino doesn't appear to be going anywhere, including the West Brom starting XI.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino is not expected to leave West Brom in a deadline-day deal despite attracting previous interest from Tottenham, reports Sky Sports.

Tottenham was expected to make a final push to sign the striker who has only started eight Premier League matches this season. The club said they need to hang on to potential goal scorers as they sit seven points above the relegation zone.

Tottenham is expected to make a final transfer offer for Berahino before the transfer deadline on Monday, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham are expected to bid around 17 million after bidding 22 million last summer. Manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he would like Berahino to stay with West Brom and is hoping that a new contract is completed in the next few days.
