Berahino scored the winner from his lone shot at goal in 78 minutes of play against Sunderland on Saturday.

That was probably one of the easiest goals in Berahino’s prolific career. Costel Pantilimon dropped a claimed cross in his feet and there was nothing the striker could do to miss the empty goal from this early Christmas gift. This may be the needed boost for the Englishman who’s far from his usual form. A feat next week against the worst defense in the league makes a good forecast for him to get back on the scoring horses.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino (knock) is starting Saturday against Sunderland.

Berahino was 50-50 for the match due to the knock, but he'll be in the lineup up front alongside Salomon Rondon, who passed fit after returning late from international duty. Berahino did most of his damage last year as a central forward, though he's had some success this season on the wing, with Rondon centrally.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino (knock) faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's fixture against Sunderland.

Since returning from his exile from the team due to his transfer demands, Berahino has been quite productive, scoring two goals in his last four matches. If he can go, he's a good option against an overmatched Sunderland side.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino scored a goal on two shots (two on target) in Monday's 3-2 defeat to Everton.

Berahino has made the most of his return to the team sheet, scoring goals in back-to-back matches. As a fixture alongside Salomon Rondon at the top of the pitch, Berahino benefits from opposing defenses keying in on him. He'll look to make it three-in-a-row next weekend against Crystal Palace.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino got his first start of the season and netted his first goal while getting off seven crosses in a 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

After a widely publicized transfer battle, Berahino finally gave in and is now playing for the club. When healthy and happy, Berahino is a solid striker and may be a nice value now as his status was up in the air prior to this start. Expect him to continue to start against Everton next Monday.

Beharino made his return to the field Saturday, being subbed on in the 55th minute for Rickie Lambert and recording one shot in a scoreless draw to Southampton.

After a well-publicized transfer battle between Beharino and West Brom, he made his awaited season debut for the club as a bench player. This was obviously just a performance to get his feet wet and it will take a couple more games until he is back into top form. With that said, when he is starting, he is one of the most dangerous forwards in the Premier League. Keep an eye on the starting XI next Saturday against Aston Villa to see if Beharino cracks the lineup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino is in contention for Saturday's game against Southampton, according to the official club website.

Berahino had threatened to go on strike following a much-publicised transfer saga during the transfer window involving Tottenham and he appears to have got over that hump following a short break. It's unclear how manager Tony Pulis intends to use the forward and much depends on whether Salomon Rondon is deemed fit enough after flying back from Venezuela, where he played 90 minutes on Tuesday night.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino is back in training at West Brom after a potential move to Tottenham fell through, reports the Daily Mail.

The striker took part in a 90-minute session with other players not on international duty. He was originally given some time off after he publicly criticized the failed transfer and threatened to go on strike, but was welcomed back by manager Tony Pulis on Monday.
