Manager Tony Pulis said that Berahino has a long-term future with the club despite the player's concerns about not being sold during the winter transfer window, reports Sky Sports.

Berahino was a substitute against Swansea, coming on in the 62nd minute. Pulis added that the team has an option on the striker's contract in addition to the remaining term. Other reports have said that the player will seek to meet with chairman Jeremy Peace in the next few weeks to discuss not being sold.

Berahino left training Monday after picking up a knock, according to Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.

There was rampant speculation that Berahino finally got his long-desired move away from The Hawthorns after he was seen leaving training, but those hopes were quickly dispelled with the news that it was injury-related. Despite a reported £21 million bid from Newcastle, Berahino doesn't appear to be going anywhere, including the West Brom starting XI.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino is not expected to leave West Brom in a deadline-day deal despite attracting previous interest from Tottenham, reports Sky Sports.

Tottenham was expected to make a final push to sign the striker who has only started eight Premier League matches this season. The club said they need to hang on to potential goal scorers as they sit seven points above the relegation zone.

Tottenham is expected to make a final transfer offer for Berahino before the transfer deadline on Monday, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham are expected to bid around £17 million after bidding £22 million last summer. Manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he would like Berahino to stay with West Brom and is hoping that a new contract is completed in the next few days.

Berahino is available off the bench Saturday against Aston Villa.

Berahino's season is completely lost, and he'll continue to struggle providing any fantasy value given his role as a reserve.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Berahino will be available for selection versus Aston Villa on Saturday, according to manager Tony Pulis.

The striker has only started eight games in Premier League (17 total appearances) and scored three goals, thus far, this season. He hasn't had a start since Oct 31 and that will probably continue to be the case versus the Villans on Saturday.

Berahino's omission from Saturday's match against Stoke was not a form of punishment, manager Tony Pulis insists, Goal.com reports.

Even with Salomon Rondon and Victor Anichebe out of the picture, the 33-year-old Rickie Lambert was preferred ahead of Berahino to start up front for the Baggies. The continuous layover on the bench is heating up a new wave of speculations about the future of the starlet, especially with the winter transfer window open.

Berahino scored the winner from his lone shot at goal in 78 minutes of play against Sunderland on Saturday.

That was probably one of the easiest goals in Berahino’s prolific career. Costel Pantilimon dropped a claimed cross in his feet and there was nothing the striker could do to miss the empty goal from this early Christmas gift. This may be the needed boost for the Englishman who’s far from his usual form. A feat next week against the worst defense in the league makes a good forecast for him to get back on the scoring horses.
