N'Koulou registered a clean sheet, one shot off target and four clearances in Wednesday's Champions League 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb.

Nkoulou had a very solid display and a shutout always helps boost your fantasy outing for the night. Lyon however will be facing much taller tasks through their next three Champions League matches (away to Sevilla and Juventus twice) where holding clean sheets could be a mirage.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nkoulou made one dribble, five clearances and received a yellow card on one foul in Saturday's 4-2 Ligue 1 defeat to Dijon.

Nkoulou gelled with his new teammates quickly and is performing at the level he was brought in for locking his starting spot in the heart of Lyon's defense. He's not much of a scorer, however, and typically often has disciplinary trouble (two yellow cards in three games already, thus far, this season). All that means his fantasy contribution is limited primarily to clean sheets, which shouldn't be in dearth this season.

Nkoulou tallied a clean sheet, two dribbles, two tackles and six interceptions in Friday's 2-0 win over Caen.

Nkoulou was a rock in the heart of the defense. He was arguably one of the best players on the field and almost nothing went past him. That's his second consecutive clean sheet and seems like he could be a very strong fantasy option despite being a center back who doesn't score much.

N'Koulou kept a clean sheet and was issued a yellow card in his league debut for Lyon in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Nancy.

The long-time Marseille centre half moved to Lyon on a free transfer this summer and after experiencing some growing pains against PSG in the Trophee des Champions, kept his first clean sheet of the season. He was issued a yellow card within the opening half-hour, something of a concern after he opened last season on a yellow card suspension and saw two other disciplinary suspensions (one for yellow card accumulation and another for a straight red card). N'Koulou definitely adds a heavy dose of quality to Lyon's back-four as long as he can avoid any disciplinary problems.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nkoulou signed a four-year deal with Lyon after a free transfer from Marseille.

Nkoulou will bolster Lyon's defensive unit in their preparation for another French title attack and a solid CL campaign, though, the central defender isn't much of a fantasy factor.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

N'Koulou scored the opening goal of Marseille's 2-0 win over Toulouse on Sunday.

N'Koulou's head connected with a cross to put Marseille ahead 20 minutes into Sunday's match. While N'Koulou will certainly be pleased by scoring a rare goal, the defender will probably take more pride in securing already his sixth clean sheet through 10 games following Sunday's victory.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

N'Koulou had an offer in excess of 12 million euros from Serie A side Napoli rejected by Marseille, Goal.com reports.

N'Koulou has started all 19 league games for Marseille this season and has anchored his side's defense for the past two seasons. At 23-years-old, the Cameroon international already boasts the combination of skill and experience to make him one of Europe's more promising center-back prospects, which is why Marseille is reluctant to sell him during the January transfer window.
