Green has only appeared as a substitute in two friendlies for Bayern this season.

Green has yet to make a roster for league play this season for Bayern. The 20-year-old American is still in need of development before he'll be ready to play at the Bundesliga level. Look for him to continue his training and appear in friendlies and other non-league matches, with a limited role for the remainder of this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green failed to make it onto the scoresheet in just five appearances during his season-long loan at Hamburg.

The American International was undoubtedly looking for more minutes with the first team during his loan spell, but languished in the reserve ranks for much of the year. Green is unlikely to play for Bayern next season and will look for a loan opportunity that will afford him more playing time than he received at Hamburg.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green is fully recovered from his rib injury and he is expected to play Saturday against FC Koln, ESPN FC reports.

Green has struggled during his loan spell with Hamburg, mostly due to the rib issue that lingered throughout the last few months. He has appeared in only five games and is still looking for his first goal and first assist.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green will not play in the United States' friendlies against Ecuador and Honduras over the international break due to a rib injury, ESPN FC reports.

Green participated in training with the U.S. team Tuesday and Wednesday but will be sent back to Hamburg to continue his recover. At this point it is still unclear if he will be able to face TSG Hoffenheim on Oct. 19 when Bundesliga play picks up again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green (ribs) was ruled out injured for the second consecutive match as Hamburg lost 2-1 Sunday to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Having never played for the Bayern Munich first team in league play, Green was loaned to Hamburg this season to gain much needed match experience. Having made two appearances for Hamburg, bruised ribs unfortunately sidelined the American. With Hamburg slipping to the bottom of the Bundesliga at the weekend and having just broken the unenviable league record for most minutes to start a season without a goal, they will need as many attacking options available. Expect Green to recover and return to some form of action in the upcoming trip to Dortmund.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green has been loaned to Hamburger SV for the 2014/15 Bundesliga season.

Green wasn't going to get any playing time at Bayern, so he moves to a Hamburg side where he'll get significantly more first team football, which will only help his development as a player.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green came on as a late sub and scored in the 107th minute of the United States' 2-1 loss to Belgium in the round of 16 at the World Cup on Tuesday.

Green became the youngest player to score a World Cup goal since Lionel Messi in 2006. Unfortunately for the Americans, it was their only score of the match and they will have to sit back and watch Belgium take on Argentina on Saturday. Green will likely get a few looks from other European clubs during the transfer window, but he will most likely stick with Bayern Munich, despite the near-total lack of first team football.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Green was named to the United States National Team for this summer's World Cup.

Green officially changed his nationality in March, and it now appears that a spot on the roster may have been part of the deal. He's been a minimal player for Bayern Munich as well, but the future is very very bright for the 18-year-old.
