Nguyen scored a goal on four shots, while adding four fouls drawn and one cross during New England's 1-0 win over New York City FC on Saturday.

Nguyen's goal was his second in the last five games, though the one back on June 24 was his first since April 4. Nguyen has tremendous fantasy upside, but he's really struggled to put it together this year, particularly of late, as the Revs had lost five straight going into Saturday's game. However, he's got a goal and an assist in his last two and will try to continue his streak next Saturday at Chicago.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nguyen was credited with an assist off a cross to Charlie Davies in Saturday's 2-1 loss to D.C. United.

Nguyen has not lived up to expectations this season as he currently sits with disappointing totals of one goal and three assists on the season. Virtually halfway through the season at this point, Nguyen still has considerable upside and can be obtained for a reasonable price after his slow start to the 2015 campaign.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Nguyen took three shots but none were on goal during New England's 2-0 win over Chicago on Saturday.

Nguyen's scoring slump continues, as he's now gone 10 straight appearances without scoring a goal and six without an assist. And while he's taken multiple shots in six of his last nine games, he hasn't had multiple shots on goal since April 11 against Columbus. Nguyen has the ability to break out at any time, but he's in quite a rut right now.

Nguyen (finger) will start in Saturday's game against the Fire.

Nguyen is dealing with a fractured finger but it apparently won't hold him off the field against Chicago. Because of the nature of his injury, the American could be in store for a full 90 on Saturday.

Nguyen is dealing with a fractured finger but doesn't think he'll miss any time off the field, Brian O'Connell of NESoccerToday.com reports.

Nguyen suffered the fracture during Saturday's game against the Timbers and has been wearing a cast on the troublesome finger ever since. With the Revolution's next game coming against the Fire on Saturday, Nguyen should be considered a game-time decision.

Nguyen served his one-match red-card ban and is eligible to face the Timbers on Saturday.

Nguyen has been a disappointing fantasy player this season in many formats, but he continues to be the anchor of the Revs' attack, putting him in plenty of scoring opportunities. New England will be without Juan Agudelo, who was called up for international duty, putting even more pressure on Nguyen to step up.

Nguyen is suspended for Sunday's match against the Galaxy after picking up two yellow cards last weekend against D.C. United.

While Nguyen is a vital piece for the Revs, he has struggled to be much of a fantasy producer this season, scoring just one goal and assisting on two others in 13 games. He'll be eligible to return June 6 against Portland.

Nguyen did not train last week as a protest over his contract, New England Soccer Today reports.

Nguyen was surprisingly left out of the starting lineup last weekend against the Red Bulls, with whispers that he did not train for a non-injury reason. We now know the cause of his benching, though it's unclear what the next step will be, as he hasn't gotten any closer to a new contract. His play this season surely isn't forcing a new move, as he has just one goal and two assists.
