Navas had two saves in his Real Madrid La Liga debut during Tuesday's 5-1 win over Elche.

Iker Casillas continues to get a majority of the starts in goal, but he hasn't been terribly impressive this season and Navas will continue to put pressure on him. The goal Navas allowed Tuesday was a penalty, so he was pretty sharp during open play. However, his fantasy value remains limited given his placement on the depth chart.

Navas officially signed with Real Madrid on Sunday after transferring from Levante.

Navas will likely take over the La Liga starts from Diego Lopez, who is expected to join AS Monaco shortly, although it is unclear if he'll supplant captain Iker Casillas in Champions League play. Casillas has been quite off for the last year or so, giving Navas a shot at an even bigger role.

Navas continues to do the impossible as he recorded a clean sheet against Italy on Friday in a Costa Rica win.

Navas saved all four shots on goal and is a major reason why Costa Rica is in charge of Group D. His surprising success will be put to the test once again Tuesday when the Ticos face England.

Navas made two saves and was only beaten on a 24th minute penalty during Costa Rica's shocking 3-1 win over Uruguay in their opening match of the World Cup on Saturday.

With Luis Suarez stuck to the bench because of a knee injury, the Ticos did a fine job of limiting the Uruguay attack. Unfortunately, it doesn't get much easier, as they still have to face Italy and England.
