Luis and the Atletico back line held Deportivo scoreless in Sunday's 1-0 win. He finished with one shot and two successful tackles.

This was the fourth clean sheet for Atletico in their last five overall matches. A road tilt at Valencia next match will be a little tougher for a clean sheet, but Luis should be plenty active in a higher-scoring game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Luis tallied an assist and kept a clean sheet in Saturday's 5-0 victory over Sporting Gijon.

With Atletico having conceded just once in four matches across all comps coming into the match, Luis made sure to make it four-straight in a quiet day defensively. This allowed the talented fullback to probe forward, picking out Kevin Gameiro in the fifth minute to double Atletico's advantage. While Atletico's defensive prowess gives Luis plenty of clean sheet opportunities, a mid-week trip to Barcelona looms with a visit from Bayern Munich coming in the following week in the Champions League.

Luis and the Atletico defense picked up a clean sheet in Tuesday's 1-0 Champions League win at PSV. He finished with two shots, one aerial won and four successful tackles.

The Atletico defense has been rolling in recent matches with back-to-back road clean sheets. Home against Sporting Gijon next, another one can be expected.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Luis secured another clean sheet as Atletico held Celta Vigo scoreless in Saturday's 4-0 win. Luis finished with five successful tackles and led Atletico defenders with 5.1% of possession.

This will be a common occurrence this season for Atletico, which is nothing new. Against Sporting Gijon next weekend, another clean sheet is highly likely.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Luis and the Atletico defense held Leganes scoreless in Saturday's 0-0 draw. Luis saw a lot of the ball on the left, finishing with five tackles and an aerial won to go with six successful dribbles.

Luis remains a dominant left-back for the Atletico defense and clean sheets will come often for him. On the road at Celta Vigo next, another one is very possible.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Filipe Luis recorded three starts for Brazil in Copa America 2016, tallying a clean sheet, an assist, two shots (one on target) and one foul, taking his international tally to one goal in 26 caps. Brazil finished third in group B with four points and were shockingly eliminated of Copa America Centenario.

Luis was a regular starter bringing a very solid fantasy production for Atletico Madrid last season with one goal, four assists, 19 clean sheets and 126 tackles in 32 La Liga starts and a total of 26 clean sheets in 45 appearances across all competitions. The 30-year-old left back had one serious issue, though, accumulating 11 yellow and one red cards in La Liga action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Luis assisted on a goal during Brazil's 7-1 win against Haiti on Wednesday.

The Atletico left back assisted Coutinho's first goal, and he was pretty sharp going forward all game long. Luis is not likely to rack up assists so his fantasy value will only be limited to clean sheets.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Luis had five crosses, three tackles and one key pass during Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win over Las Palmas on Saturday.

Luis' return to Madrid is off to a good start, as he's clearly going to get more playing time there than at Cheslea, where he spent last season mostly on the bench. Atletico continue to be a strong defensive team, which means Luis could be in line for plenty of clean sheets.
