Luis said that he is happy with his position at Chelsea and is planing to see out his contract with the club, reports Sky Sports.

The defender has not earned a permanent spot in the starting line up, and has only made seven Premier League starts so far this season. Still, he remains content at the club, and wants to finish his three-year contract there.

Luis (calf) was an unused substitute for Chelsea's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Luis went unused against Everton last week as well, and he hasn't played in a non-Capital One Cup match since Jan. 17 against Swansea. With Cesar Azpilicueta playing well, it appears unlikely that Luis will get back in the starting XI for Saturday's match against Burnley.

Manager Jose Mourinho said Monday that John Obi Mikel (knee) is his only injured player, implying that Luis (calf) is fit for Tuesday's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.

Luis has started a few Champions League matches this season, while Cesar Azpilicueta saw most of the Premier League starts, though it's unclear if Luis will get the starting nod against PSG.

Manager Jose Mourinho confirmed Friday that Luis will not play Saturday against Aston Villa.

Luis will miss a great clean sheet opportunity, which will most likely now go to Cesar Azpilicueta at left back.

Luis was forced out of Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Liverpool after suffering a calf injury, manager Jose Mourinho confirmed after the game.

Cesar Azpilicueta, who recently dealt with a groin injury, came on for Luis and is expected to continue starting ahead of him at leftback during Premier League play.

Luis is expected to start Saturday at Swansea City in place of the injured Cesar Azpilicueta, who is sidelined at least 10 days with a groin injury, EPSN FC reports.

Luis is a natural leftback, unlike Azpilicueta who is more comfortable on the right side, and he also likes to get involved in the attack, which could give him a higher fantasy ceiling than his teammate in the coming games.

Luis started Chelsea's Champions League match against Schalke 04 on Wednesday and played all 90 minutes.

Luis started in place of Cesar Azpilicueta, something that could occur more often in the coming weeks. If Luis can garner regular time in the starting XI, he would likely be the best value of the strong Chelsea back line, as Gary Cahill, John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic are heavily-priced in most salary cap games.

Luis came on for Eden Hazard in the 83rd minute of Chelsea's 6-3 win over Everton on Saturday.

Luis did not play at all in Chelsea's first two Premier League matches and he barely got a sweat going in their third. The preseason indication is that he would compete with Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta for playing time, but with Ivanovic scoring two goals an assisting on another through three games, it seems highly doubtful that manager Jose Mourinho would pull him now. As it stands, Azpilicueta remains the starter, which leaves Luis with very limited fantasy value.
