Moreno is expected to be replaced at left back by James Milner for Saturday's game against Burnley, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Moreno had a dismal season debut on Saturday against Arsenal, as he was out of position numerous times and committed a foul in the box. He's always been very strong in the attacking portion of his game, but his lack of defensive success appears to be leading him to the bench.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Moreno (hamstring) is starting at left-back Sunday against Arsenal.

Moreno was the consistent starter last season at left-back for Liverpool and he finds himself starting in a tasty matchup with Arsenal. Despite injury concerns, he has been deemed fit for Sunday's match.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Moreno had to be subbed off late in Monday's match against Roma in the International Champions Cup because of a hamstring injury. "Yes, [he is okay] - dead leg in the hamstring," manager Jurgen Klopp said after the match. "He couldn't activate the muscle so you cannot play."

Moreno will undergo therapy right away, and it remains unclear if he will be able to recover in time for the start of their Premier League season, which comes 14. Aug against Arsenal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Moreno and the Liverpool defense held Watford scoreless in a 2-0 win Sunday.

Moreno has now scored, assisted or recorded a clean sheet in four straight matches for Liverpool. The midweek meeting with Chelsea will be a little more difficult for the Reds.

Moreno tallied two assists in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Newcastle.

Moreno now has three assists in his last three league matches. Moreno's next match comes Thursday versus Villarreal in the first leg on the Europa League semifinal, and his next league match comes Sunday versus Swansea, who have only scored 16 home goals, third-worst in the Premier League. However, it may be hard to trust Liverpool's back line to record a clean sheet.

Moreno took four shots (one on target) and four crosses en route to a clean sheet in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over Everton.

In extremely lopsided game the Reds had 37 shots on goal, 11 of which came from the defensive line. After notching his first goal in two years just ten days earlier, Moreno was hungry for more and seemed to be the most persistent of the back four. He hasn't been much of a fantasy factor all year long but with Liverpool finding incredibly prolific rhythm of late he may be worth a look in the upcoming fixtures against Newcastle and Swansea.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Moreno scored a goal and tallied an assist in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Stoke City.

Coming off a strong effort at Dortmund, Moreno filled up the stat sheet Sunday, providing the opening goal in the eighth minute—his first since Dec. 2014. The goal was only his third in a Liverpool kit as the 23-year-old is more of a provider than a goal scorer from his left back perch. Despite picking up a ton of points, one shouldn't look to Moreno as a consistent source of offense moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Moreno (hamstring) has fully recovered and is back in the starting lineup for Saturday's match against Tottenham.

Moreno was expected to be fit for the match and after a late fitness test he's been written into the starting 11. He has appeared in 22 Premier League matches this season and totaled 28 shots, however he has yet to find the back of the net this campaign.
