It's tough to consider Dempsey's loan spell a success, as he failed to score a goal or record an assist in any of his six matches in all competitions. He'll head back to the States as arguably one of the best players in Major League Soccer, and will be a vital cog of the U.S. World Cup team.

Dempsey had hoped to help Fulham improve their attack but has struggled to do so in the four matches he has played in for the club. He had shown signs of life in the match earlier in the week, but the fact that he started Saturday on the bench is a little worrisome for his fantasy value.
