Sagna missed the midweek Champions League match due to a "little problem" and Pep Guardiola wouldn't confirm if Sagna would be ready for the match at Stoke on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Pablo Zabaleta and Aleksandar Kolarov both played in the wing-back roles for Guardiola. If Sagna sits, one of those guys could get the start with Gael Clichy, with Nicolas Otamendi moving into the center alongside John Stones.

Manchester City need just a point to solidify their Champions League spot for next season, which keeps Kevin De Bruyne near the top of the midfielder rankings for the final week of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sagna started all seven matches for France during Euro 2016, tallying one assist, three clean sheets, one shot off target, 17 crosses and nine tackles. He improves to 63 caps with no goals. France suffered an upset 1-0 extra-time loss to Portugal in the final capturing the silver medals.

Sagna had a nice campaign on the right back for Manchester City last season. The 33-year-old veteran held some decent fantasy upside, especially in formats where they take peripheral stats and finished the season with three assists, 11 clean sheets and 50 tackles in 28 Premier League appearances (27 starts).

Sagna started and helped keep a clean sheet during Thursday's 2-0 win over Germany.

Sagna and company were under significant pressure through several stages of the match, but they were able to stand firm with the help of Hugo Lloris and kept their formidable opponents off the scoreboard. Sagna has helped the hosts to a sterling defensive record of just four goals allowed through six matches, and will look to cap off a memorable tournament with a win in Sunday's final versus Portugal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sagna tallied an assist on six crosses and added two tackles in Sunday's 2-1 Euro 2016 victory over Ireland that sent France to the quarterfinals.

Sagna was active on the flank with France chasing goals for the majority of the game. He threw a brilliant cross to find the head of Antoine Griezmann for the equalizer that gave the Roosters their wings back. His fantasy forecast for the quarterfinals is highly dependent on who they face between England and Iceland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sagna aided in a clean sheet during Sunday's goalless draw with Switzerland.

Sagna didn't make a huge statistical impact on the game and failed to get forward with any regularity, but he played his part in helping the hosts clinch the top spot in Group A. France have only allowed one goal through three games, and will look to keep up their strong defensive record versus the third-place finisher from Group C, D or E in the first knockout phase next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sagna made two tackles, put in two crosses and helped keep a clean sheet in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Albania.

The fullback put in a much better effort than he did in a lackluster opening match versus Romania and he helped his side grind out a victory without conceding a goal. France have a wealth of options at their disposal and made some key changes ahead of Wednesday's match, but Sagna's place seems secure after his bounce-back performance. As such, he should start again Sunday versus Romania.

Sagna (back) is not in the 18-man squad to face Stoke City on Saturday.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini said Friday that Sagna was fit enough to be available for Saturday's match, so it's a bit surprising he didn't even make the bench. Pablo Zabaleta will start at rightback again.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sagna (back) is available for Saturday's match against Stoke City.

Between wanting to rest the 33-year-old and injury, Sagna has played just 23 minutes total in the last four Premier League matches. Even when available, City could still turn to Pablo Zabaleta at right back, but Sagna's return would be a boon to the team's depth ahead of a busy period with at least two more Champions League matches in addition to holding off United in the top-four of the Premier League.
