Bale returned from injury and had an assist Saturday as Real Madrid recorded a 3-2 away win against Sevilla.

Bale was fit enough to make the bench following a calf injury and replaced Chicharito on 66 minutes. It took him just three minutes to make an impact, crossing for Cristiano Ronaldo to head in the third goal of his hat-trick. Bale didn't manage to take any shots of his own but did register three crosses.

Bale is expected to be sidelined for up to three weeks because of the calf injury he suffered during Saturday's match against Malaga, ESPN FC reports.

Bale couldn't play even five minutes Saturday before feeling something in his calf, and the injury will keep him out of Wednesday's Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, plus a number of La Liga ties. Real Madrid will also be without Luka Modric, who is out for six weeks with a knee injury, with Isco likely to replace one of them.

Bale produced three shots as Real Madrid defeated Rayo Vallecano 2-0 Wednesday.

All three of Bales's shots were off target as he struggled to affect the game. The Welshman did however find the net on 23 minutes but it was rightly ruled out for offside. He made some good forward runs and looked lively but was eventually replaced by Chicharito on 90 minutes.

Bale scored the first goal and assisted two others as Real Madrid overwhelmed Granada 9-1 Sunday.

Bale rounded the goalkeeper with ease after 25 minutes to send Real on the way to an emphatic victory. He then set-up Cristiano Ronaldo to complete the forward's hat-trick and later assisted Ronaldo's fifth on 54 minutes. The Welshman seems to have responded to criticism in the Spanish press well and is hitting some form.
