Ivanovic took one shot (one on target) while keeping a clean sheet in Wednesday's scoreless draw with Watford.

After two assists in his previous three matches, Ivanovic was decisive at the back and probing moving forward again on Wednesday. This was the team's second straight clean sheet and they'll look to make it three when they take on Manchester United.

Ivanovic tallied an assist while keeping a clean sheet in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Arsenal.

With Arsenal down to 10 men, the full back was given even greater freedom to roam up the pitch and found Diego Costa right at the doorstep of the goal thanks to the disorganized Arsenal back line down their skipper for the first and only goal of the match. The assist was only his second of the season, but they've both come in the past three matches.

Ivanovic is expected to sign a new contract with Chelsea this week after agreeing to a one-year deal, reports the Daily Mail.

The defender was recently offered the new deal after making 22 appearances so far this season. He will be out of his current contract this summer and can speak with foreign teams.

Ivanovic headed one home on two shots (one on target) and added four crosses and team-leading four interceptions in the 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday.

It was a classic, a-la-Brane, header from corner for the goal. Sadly, for his loyal fantasy fans though, only his first of the season. Hes had a rough beginning of the season but may, however, be on the way to see some better days. Next on the deck for him are more favorable match-ups against the low-scoring Watford and Man Utd.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ivanovic endured a nightmarish beginning of the season at both ends of the pitch, but he has shown improved form in four matches since his one and a half-month injury layoff.

The Serbian has helped the Blues to three clean sheets since his return and is averaging over four crosses per game, resembling the outstanding fantasy option from the last few seasons. Ivanovic is less than an ideal play against Leicester City this weekend, but he should be firmly on the fantasy radar for next week's home match versus Sunderland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Despite traveling for Saturday's match against Stoke City, Ivanovic (hamstring) was not in the 18-man game-day squad.

Ivanovic is reportedly getting very close to returning, though it's unclear if he'll get his starting job back after the international break.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ivanovic (hamstring) is in good condition and in the squad for Chelsea's match against Stoke.

This will be Ivanovic's first match since sustaining an injury while playing for his native Serbia in October. The 31-year-old right back has worn the armband three times this season when John Terry hasn't been included in the side, but Ivanovic and the whole Chelsea defense has been shaky at best and porous at worst. His return should help steady the back-four as it would allow Kurt Zouma to move to his more traditional center back role.

Ivanovic is still sidelined with his hamstring injury, however, he joined the first team for training this week.

Ivanovic was absent from the roster for Chelsea's Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev on Nov. 4. He's yet to see the pitch since picking up his injury while on international duty last month and he'll most likely continue training with the first team and have a late fitness test before the match verse Stoke City on Nov. 7.
