Guzan is available off the bench Tuesday against Crystal Palace as Mark Bunn gets the start.

Villa have been awful defensively this season, and while all of it can't be put on the shoulders of Guzan, there isn't much else manager Remi Garde can do to switch things up. On the plus side, Palace are playing without a recognized striker Tuesday, though they have more than enough talent in the midfield to break through.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan conceded three and made three saves in Aston Villa's 3-1 defeat to Sunderland at The Stadium Of Light on Saturday.

With Villa anchored to the bottom of the table with eight points, you would imagine Guzan would be a busy man every weekend, but be is averaging just three saves per game, coupled with only two clean sheets all season, which doesn't warrant the American as a viable fantasy option.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made two saves, zero claims and conceded twice in the 2-0 loss to Norwich.

The Villansí defense was all over the place, as usually, and Guzan didnít stand much of a chance to prevent his team from another loss. The American is doing his best but the team just seems to be Championship bound at the moment. Until that continues the keeper should be far and away from any of your fantasy rosters.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made three saves and conceded a single goal in a draw against Newcastle at St. James Park on Saturday.

Guzan only has two clean sheets in 17 Premier League appearances this season and, though he has made 56 saves there is better fantasy value in other goalkeepers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made two saves and conceded two goals in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Guzan was virtually powerless on both goals, conceding the first off a penalty and the second off a beautiful feed from Mesut Ozil to the doorstep where Aaron Ramsey finished the job to give the Gunners and insurmountable lead. Guzan hasn't been great, but he's hardly been the reason Villa sit as relegation fodder. He's conceded 30 goals in 16 matches this season while keeping two clean sheets. They face an absolute must-win next week up north against Newcastle.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made three saves and conceded a single goal in a 1-1 draw to Southampton on Saturday.

Guzan only has two clean sheets in 15 games, but he does have 51 saves. That is the nature of playing goalie for Aston Villa and he should be good for a ton of saves with this bad defense, but very few clean sheets. He'll have another busy game when Villa has to take on Arsenal next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made four saves and conceded three goals in a 3-2 loss to Watford on Saturday.

Guzan played fine here and was undone by some poor defense. The poor result was capped off by an own goal from Alan Hutton and that was Villa's game in a nutshell. Guzan will look to bounce-back against Southampton next Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan had a nightmare of a game on Saturday, conceding four goals and making five saves in a 4-0 loss to Everton.

Guzan made two huge mistakes in this game that led directly to goals and Villa never appeared to have a chance. He now has just two clean sheets in 13 games and it's hard to imagine that tally getting much higher behind this poor defense. He does have 44 saves, but that's not enough with the lack of clean sheets. He'll look to have a bounce-back performance against Watford next Saturday.
