Guzan conceded one goal and made four saves in a 1-0 loss to Stoke City on Saturday.

It's been a tough year for Guzan and it probably won't get much easier. In eight games, he has 29 saves and one clean sheet. The clean sheets will be rare and he'll need to make plenty of saves to even keep Villa alive this season. After an international break, Aston Villa have a nightmare matchup at Chelsea on the 17th.

Guzan made nine saves and conceded three goals in the away loss to Liverpool on Saturday.

The American did everything he could to keep his team in contention in what could have been a blow-out. If Aston Villa continues to struggle this season he’ll keep having lots of work. Next week would be a great opportunity to get even better fantasy outcome against Stoke City, who have yet to win away from home.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made five saves and conceded one goal in a 1-0 loss to West Brom on Saturday.

Aston Villa look like a bad team right now and it will be tough for them to stay up with their subpar defense and even worse offense. The American has now conceded eight goals over his last four matches, and it's no fault of his own, as he's made 13 saves in those games. It's going to be a long year for Guzan and he'll need to stand on his head to keep Villa up. Guzan will have another tough matchup next Saturday when Villa travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan and Villa choked away a 2-0 lead to Leicester City by allowing three goals in the final 20-plus minutes to lose 3-2 on Sunday. He made three saves in the match.

The defense completely collapsed for Villa and not much blame can be placed on Guzan as Leicester were in top-form the final quarter of the match. This is the story for Villa though as their defense continues to struggle and it will be tough for Guzan to get any clean sheets if they keep up this form. Guzan and Villa will look to play better when they host West Brom next Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan made just one save and conceded two goals in a 2-2 draw to Sunderland on Saturday.

Guzan hasn't been asked to make many saves this season and that's probably a good thing as it tells us that the defense is performing much better this year. He's only had to make eight saves in his four games, but he's only kept one clean sheet. It will be tough for Aston Villa to keep clean sheets as they are usually out-possessed and out-shot in nearly every match. Guzan and Villa will take on Leicester City in two weeks time after an international break.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan failed to keep a clean sheet in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Guzan made four saves but was beaten first by Scott Dann's header and then Bakary Sako's late shot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan conceded one goal and made one save in Friday's 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

Guzan was hardly at fault for Adnan Januzaj's 29th minute goal, which took a deflection off a Villa defender at the mouth of the goal. While United had plenty of chances, they struggled to put the ball on net and Guzan was lucky to see only two shots on target. He'll look to bounce back in Villa's next fixture against Crystal Palace.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Guzan produced a pair of saves en route to a clean sheet as Aston Villa topped Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday.

Guzan wasn't required often in the Villain's season-opening display, though he did make a good one-on-one save against Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson during the first half. Off to a strong start, Guzan faces a far taller task against Manchester United at Villa Park next weekend.
