Balotelli missed from the spot on five shots, with two on target and a yellow card in Friday's 2-0 win over Lyon.

Balotelli was, as usually, very busy man upfront. However, he was nowhere near his familiar level of effectiveness resulting in him missing from the spot. It will be a much lower fantasy outing than usual, though the striker will remain with a huge fantasy upside on any given match, nonetheless.

Balotelli will be available for selection for the clash with Lyon after seeing his red card rescinded by the LFP, L'Equipe reports.

Balotelli was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for an alleged scuffle with Steven Moreira during the win over Lorient last Saturday. The LFP however deemed the incident as too innocent for a caution and has canceled out the striker's second official warning and the following automatic red card which will make him available for the crucial derby against Lyon next Friday. Balotelli has six goals in five matches across all competitions since his arrival at the end of August.

Balotelli (groin) fired in the winner on four shots, with one on target but was sent off in stoppage time of Sunday's 2-1 dramatic victory over Lorient for a second yellow card.

Why always him? Well, for starters, he's been the main highlight of every Nice match since his arrival. And it was all about him yet again against Lorient. The striker stole another winner for Nice with a jaw-dropping strike from outside the box to grab his fifth score in three Ligue 1 starts and his sixth goal in five starts across all competitions. Then in stoppage time he was sent off after receiving a second silly booking and will have to miss the vital derby with Lyon on 14 Oct. Alassane Plea will lead Nice's attack versus the vice-champions Lyon in the superstar's absence.

Balotelli (groin) missed Sunday's match against Nancy, but boss Lucien Favre hinted that he may return for Thursday's match, Goal reports.

Balotelli has scored four goals in three matches in all competition since his arrival to the french squad. Favre has not ruled out the possibility of him being featured in the Europa League match against Krasnodar. The Italian international will be reevaluated later this week to determine his fitness and availability.

Balotelli hammered a pair of scores on four shots, with all on target in Wednesday's 4-0 Ligue 1 romp over Monaco.

Balotelli was clinical and made the most of the little chances Nice had to take his team at the top of the league. He looks very quick, sharp and thirsty and with four goals in two Ligue 1 matches will hold an enormous fantasy upside this season. Next up are dates with Nancy and Lorient, two of the bottom four teams in the league.

Balotelli (rest) is back in the 18-man squad for Wednesday's derby with Monaco.

Balotelli has been rested and is fully operational for the big clash with the Monegasque. After a brace in his debut the striker would attempt to spoil the stellar run of the visitors.

Balotelli didn't make the 18-man squad for Sunday's Ligue 1 match with Montpellier.

Balotelli has been rested after playing two full matches within a week. The striker recently arrived at Nice and was deployed immediately after not playing at all before that. With two more matches next week, though, expect him to be right back in the fray. Younes Belhanda could grab his first start as number 10 behind the striker.

Balotelli converted a penalty kick for a brace on seven shots (four on target) two crosses in Sunday's breathtaking 3-2 win over Marseille.

Balotelli put on a show right off the gate. The striker hit a penalty shot with poise and confidence to celebrate his return to regular football. He had a myriad of missed chances to double his tally before he headed home the equalizer with about 10 minutes left in the game. Nice seem primed to improve significantly on offense with the new acquisitions and Balotelli could feast on that turning into the star of Ligue 1 this season.
